For this day., Easter...wishing you all a happy day. May we all be enjoying the meaning of Easter , to me at least...to new beginnings, things coming to life, and the enjoyment of a lovely Spring season.
Happy Easter!
These were my grandmothers vintage Easter decorations.
Lovely to be surrounded by tradition on holidays such as these. Happy Easter, Mistress!

DeleteEnjoy your day!
ReplyDeletexoxo :-)
Very pretty, as always.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter MM!
Happy Easter Weekend to you and yours!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you dinner turns out well for you. I have my daughter coming over and we will sit and break bread at one of my set tables! I am adoring your Easter things. One just doesn't see them anymore. Seems the fun and magic of everything gets sucked out of everything. Seems like everyday anymore is "just another day" to many. It's rather sad mentality.
I agree Agnes. Easter doesn't have to be a religious holiday....it can be just to celebrate the beautiful season of spring!!! I enjoy holidays as well. Breaks up the humdrum of the "every day".
DeleteWhere do you find the room to keep your seasonal decorations between the appropriate seasons?
ReplyDeleteWith exception to Christmas, each holidays get a little Rubbermaid bin to store the décor. They stack nicely in the hallway walk in closet. I do sometimes have to rotate the bins. Like Easter/ Spring will now go in the bin when my Summer comes out. Summer will go in the Autumn/Halloween when it comes out.....
DeleteYou do all things so well. Your grandmother had great taste. No kitsch in that collection!
ReplyDeleteThe red eyes on those bunnies freak me. The rest of the decor is sumptuous, as ever, dear....
ReplyDeleteTime for a libation. Clink, clink! Jx
I am adoring that Easter presentation. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteFantastic Easter displays! I love the bunnies.
ReplyDeleteAmong other things, it looks like your grandmother collected Faberge eggs.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter.
I wish they were Faberge!!!! These are the ones that are Styrofoam, that are decorated with fabric, trimmings and beaded push pins. I saw a lot of them when I was little too. They were huge thing when she was growing up.
DeleteHappy Easter!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Maddie, your Gramma's Vintage Easter Decorations are Lovely.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! Wouldn't it be nice to stroll around wearing an Easter bonnet? The decorations are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
You mean, you don't Janie??????
