I think the first picture better sums up my way to spend a Monday!!! While I love what I do for a living, I suspect I will never be a fan of Monday mornings. It was a glorious weekend weather wise, and while the warmish temps continue, we have rain in the forecast most of the week, which will be a good jump start to give other plants the coax they need to spring forth. So much is ready to explode. Speaking of springing forth, the Lad stopped in for an overnight and left this morning. Probably why I'm tired. There is no rest for the weary.
Today's forecast: Dreary and overhang!
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with Monday in these shots.
ReplyDeleteI understand we're going to get a "The Devil Wears Prada Part 2." How fun!
ReplyDeleteSpring, sprung! Jx
ReplyDeletePS Miranda Priestley is an icon.
Oh, that houseboy WAS springing!
ReplyDeleteLove that Paris pic.
XOXO

Is the fabulous, gorgeous dame in black you?
ReplyDeleteJust like her stunning yes but alas, I'm not that old yet.
DeleteGive me some men who are stout-hearted men who will fight for the mistress they adore! Shoulder to shoulder and bolder and bolder they grow as they go to the fore!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Well, sweetpea, it's grey, overcast, and just a bit chilly oiutside, BUT your choice of photos today certainly shout SPRING! and I mean that in the most delicious way! xoxo
ReplyDelete+ grande madama Carmen Dell’Orefice e bei ragazzi di casa :)
ReplyDeleteI've a similar picture of the Eiffel Tower, though I took mine in the fall.
ReplyDeleteLove the spilled coffee art!
ReplyDeleteThat could be a whole new art form!!!!
DeleteI no long recognize Monday as a day of the week. It's just a number on a calendar. In fact, I'm doing away with calendars and dates and the like all together. Why bother? It's a day. Just live it. Get up as early as possible, and do as much stuff as you like until you fall into bed to do it all again the next day. Pfft. Monday. As a concept. Gone. Pfft. Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteExcept I hate getting up early. I will always be a night owl. I knew I should have been a prostitute or vampire.
DeleteOr both. Night after night, sucking... Jx
DeleteJon....you know me, you just know me.
DeleteThe Devil wore his birthday suit.
ReplyDeleteThere are things here that could prevent my beauty sleep.
ReplyDeleteI'd risk it.
DeleteI love that coffee picture, and the car!!
ReplyDeleteSx
I thought that was neat too...and it took me a minute to notice the art after the spill.
DeleteLove the coffee spill art! But I'm not sure what to sync my teeth into first those delicious waffles where the guy in the jock strap with exposed cakes and sausage. I love this mood board.
ReplyDeleteEach and every picture, brings about a mood. And what's not to love about Carmen? Even for her age now she's still absolutely stunning. And what is it about a guy lying around in white underwear that sexy as hell?
ReplyDeleteThe Miranda Priestly gifs certainly some of my Monday look. Perfect and I've always enjoyed that picture of the Eiffel Tower with the cherry blossoms. There's so much to sink your teeth into with this mood board.
ReplyDeleteI dated someone a long time ago who had a delicious dick like that young thing in the jock.
ReplyDeleteMy father was always keen to give me advice, but the only advice he gave me that I totally ignored was, "Son, don't ever grow old!" I wish I would have paid closer attention. This "old" crap is for the birds.
It was Betty Davis wasn't it that said old age is no place for sissies? Oh yes that boy in the jockstrap, it just makes my mind wander. I'm at the latter half of the middle aged, and I never thought I was going to be this old. But mentally I'm probably 25 years behind so I think that helps!
DeleteVery cool pictures!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about a jock strap? Filled or parts sticking out!?!
ReplyDeleteSwan upping on the Thames, led by the King's Swan Warden, occurs in July. Sadly the number of cygnets has been falling.
