STOP THE CAR....

Who else, but the GOP and war mongers. War??? I'll never understand it. I couldn't agree more with US Rep Summer Lee.

And color me confused. The US is buying bullets and bombs for Isael, then we're buying bandages and aid for Palestinians, who get shot and bombed? They wouldn't need to buy the damn aid if we didn't fund Isarel to begin with!!!

    1. "We the People" need to start putting the 1% in their place. They have no issues if you ask me.

  2. Sadly, war is a profitable business for the rich and entitled who have never been called to duty, and never had their children called to duty.
Let';s not care for people when bombs and billionaires need $$$$.
    FUCK the GOP.

  5. Our political system makes me sick unfortunately it's the American way, they feel the bombs, while they crowdfund Healthcare. Meanwhile, Israel's had Universal Health Care on our dime since 1985.

  6. It scares me that we're getting involved in too many wars at one time. It worried me when Biden started Romancing Taiwan. Sometimes I feel we are on the verge of World War III. And those charts are exactly what disgust me. We never can find this money to fix all these issues in our own country yet it's funny we can find all that money to go to war. And people wonder why I'm disgusted with politicians. And then people wonder why I don't trust any politician republican-democrat or independent.

    1. You have stated a reason why precisely I left the country. I couldn't take or trust any politicians in that country anymore. The US has the money to fix all these issues and then some but all the politicians do is hold of everybody's heads to get reelected. And yet US citizens keep voting the same people in and back in and back in. The party's in that country are like Dumb and Dumber

  7. If this is the US's way of securing a " both sides" argument down the line, then us is missing guided, at best.

  8. It's all about the coins in the end of the day and the politicians holding all these issues over our heads for re-election. It's despicable. I have sort of following Representative Summer Lee... he's very outspoken and is ready to take on the establishment. I just wish we had more like her.

    1. THAT is the kicker, Politicians keep running on these issues to fear us for our votes...then when they're in office and have all three branches, and could just these things passed...don't. God forbid what would they run on then???

  10. Those proposals sound distinctly, dare I say it, socialist. I know that is a dirty word in the US but it covers so much that is good and does NOT mean communist.

  11. This conflict... so very prickly and complicated. You've boiled it down to something basic... good job. Unfortunately... the US is in a no win situation here. Hamas is evil. What they did, to set this off... that was evil and must be dealt with. Israel has long depended on the US for support. The Palestinian people are caught in the crossfire, as Israel's military approach appears to be not targeted enough. So, you have people who have done nothing other than allow terrorists to thrive in their community who are getting shot up. In the US, people are upset - they want a cease fire, but to do so simply allows Hamas to refortify, giving them the opportunity to strike again. And Biden is the punching bag for all of it. And the media doesn't seem interested in explaining anything... for them it's more of an exciting new story than a teaching moment. In the end... lots of money is spent and the military complex profits selling their over-priced weapons. And the real losers? Ukraine. Because, if you notice, the news media has put them on the back burner... I think human beings are rather awful.

    1. You right on with the press. I don't even trust the new media almost as much as politicians themselves. The news is either way too right or left, and that's not the position there to be reporting on. And now because of this war, your right Ukraine has no chance now.

Yes yes and yes. But. And. Also. How about the corrupt corporations that polluted those rivers and streams pay for their clean up. How about the corrupt water authorities replace the lead pipes without price gauging working families. (Wilkinsburg-Penn Hills Joint water authority, talking to you, among others.) my water and sewage bill is my highest utility cost each month which is bonkers. And the water is poison. Or how about the companies that are gentrifying neighborhoods pitch in their fair share for affordable housing. The list goes on. But bottom line, the corporations creating the problems should pay to fix said problem. Not us.

The last thing we need to be involved in is wars...what with being a broken country.

  14. Lowering Medicare to 60, ahh, as part of my retirement package I received a pricing on continuing my private insurance plan, just over $1,000 a month, that is why I didn't plan to retire until 65. Want to get older workers out of the workforce to open jobs for recent graduates, lower the age for Medicare and provide financial security. Otherwise we are going to work and draw salaries until we are old.

  15. They could also bail out the Social Security fund.

The whole Palestine / Israel issue is older than time itself. The saddest part of all this is that it will never be solved. Meanwhile, Upton is right on so many levels. Folks keep badgering Biden to stop the war. He is not president of Gaza or Israel or the West Bank. The media can't seem to get it through people's heads that Biden is caught between a rock and a rock. Meanwhile, Ukraine is desperately trying to hold on while the GOP keep saying to back Putin.

During World War II, 1.5 million Jews were killed by Ukrainians, meaning every 4th Jew killed was a victim of Nazi Ukrainians. This horrific event was labeled the “Holocaust by Bullet” or “Холокост метком.”

Yes Ukraine was Nazi supporter.Poland even try to charge them for genocide in 2016 for a death of 100 000 Poles. But Russia protected Jews from Nazi Ukrainians. In the same time Russia invaded Poland sooo there is extra mind fuck…

But let’s go back to Ukraine

In 2015, over 50,000 Nazis marched through the streets of Kiev. Biggest Nazi gathering since WWII. That news being somehow overlooked by media … Today, Ukraine’s current army comprises one-third of strong Azov supporters, some even displaying swastika tattoos and the whole shebang!

Yet, on the other hand, USA and EU support Ukraine. Isn’t this an oxymoron when considering the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict? It’s worth noting that Israel refused to impose sanctions on Russia and declined to send defensive weaponry to Ukraine. And I don't like r support Russia by any means, but find it all interesting. I agree though, we are wasting money down the drain on these wars and conflicts. Which is why I find our politicians disgusting. They apparently just want to flex their muscles to other countries instead of having a country of healthy and happy citizens and let them live in an ever-growing expensive way of life with prices of everything going up, in a crumbling country. I feel bad for the future generations of US citizens.

it’s about highlighting how we are often blinded by bias and manipulated by the news and media. The narratives served by governments are utter bullshit, and it’s led to numerous wars and conflicts in the past, as we see, now, and it will in the future… Even the fucking UN took 25 days to react to an ongoing genocide and still without taking substantial action.

All in all.... Governments, USA, NATO, UN don’t give a flying fuck for the average joe. And we just sit back and don't care.

  18. It's all about money. I'm dead certain someone on Fox Business already told viewers what stocks to buy to profit off the war.

Anyone that has mutual funds or a 401k should probably sit this one out. I'm sure there's a manager or two for one of those funds that's already trading in those same stocks. After all, it's their job to make us money even if it's off of death.

Unless there's a two state solution, there will never be an end to this conflict. Ever.
