ReplyDeleteThe man was brilliant. I once read that Disney was hell-bent on creating a feature-length animated Snow White film, despite everyone else's doubt. Some in Hollywood even referred to the project as "Disney's folly." They were the real fools though--Snow White earned more than $8 million during its original release, which would be equal to about $130 million today.

ReplyDeleteWe met him twice on US trips when I was little at his theme parks....and he actually remembered us from two years earlier and let us ride a float in the parade at the park. Both times he was so happy and kind to answer questions from two young kids.
