I wore those things all of the time! They were pretty good until I moved to queen size. It seems that I was supposed to have big legs to wear them. More fabric on the legs and not enough on the belly area. After a couple of rolling down to my thighs in public incidents, I switched to knee highs. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. I need a cane for these walks now.
Happy to make you laugh, Maddie darlin'. I found it funny even while it was happening. It's hard to make your way to a bathroom to fix things, when you're doubled up laughing! Squeeze your knees together, and baby step it or hop! The more you know.....
I remember this commercial and song......brings back memories ...me and my sister walking on the street and kicking out our legs and singing this dumb song.........youthful exuberance.
Yes, Joyce De Witt! I remember her doing an infomercial with Ann Miller and someone else where they sat and talked about their legs. As I remember, Joyce De Witt talked about simply imagining herself with beautiful legs... and voila! I just remember Ann Miller regularly kicking her legs in the air... and I remember noticing that she was splay legged!
Odd seeing Joyce De Witt in an ad. She was said to have not wanted anything to do with celebrity during her Three's Company heyday. She must have changed her mind.
My mother used to keep those plastic egg containers and save them for Easter and put our candy in them. I though I would share that with you. Did anyone else do that too?
OMG
ReplyDeleteNostalgia! Like three years ago I found several boxes with old Cosmopolitan magazines in them. These were the ads that appeared there! So cute.
XOXO
Been a loooooong time!
