Regarding the Prince Rumors

Contrary to popular belief, and the rumor mill, it was not the Mistress in the pictures from Prince Harry's Vegas trip and the nude pictures leaked from the room. Many think the Mistress was in Vegas and in a clandestine with the Prince. But as you know, I was on the other coast of the country in Provincetown. But, I do admit a couple times to plying the sexy Prince with libations, and trying to seduce him into my lust web.

I'm Getting Nothin' for Christmas

My suitors are tempting me to be bad.

I'm getting nothing for Christmas, the poor little Mistress is sad,I'm getting nothing for Christmas, because I didn't want to be bad!

Joe promised me a French Citroën , just for a little kiss, sterling cuff links, and a case of Hendricks, just for a little kiss, he said he'd buy out the stores, everything I have is yours, I will be your Santa Claus, just for a little kiss!

I'm getting nothing for Christmas, my little Joey is mad,I'm getting nothing for Christmas, because I didn't want to be bad!

The Prince promised me a Gucci watch, just for a tiny squeeze, a drawer of Calvins, plus an Argentine trip, just for a tiny squeeze, he said minx be nice to me, and on Christmas day you'll see, presents round your Christmas tree, just for a tiny squeeze.

I'm getting nothing for Christmas, my little Princy is mad,I'm getting nothing for Christmas, because I didn't want to be bad!

And finally the Lad promised me a day at Bergdorf's, just for a tiny grope, a Hermes wallet, and a summer share, just for a tiny grope, he said jezebel be sweet to me, and you will see, unlimited Chanel Egoiste under your tree, just for a tiny grope.

I'm getting nothing for Christmas, my little Laddie is mad,I'm getting nothing for Christmas, because I didn't want to be bad!

So take my advice, I think you should, it's good to be good, but not to good......... oh hell with it, when I'm bad I better!!!! I'll end up with a full floor under my tree!

Some Time at The Boat House

This past weekend was very relaxing, and probably the most quite one I have had in some time. I and the Prince Charming spent the weekend together. It was mostly filled with some cool outdoor walks, making sure the help got all my fall wardrobe at of the storage, some dinning, and we even managed to hit my new favorite watering hole, The Boat House, which is located in along the river in Lambertville. A river town, yes, but with an amazingly vibrant culture. Located on the Delaware River in Hunterdon County,New Jersey, this town has a completely engaging nature for both visitors and locals. I'm lucky to be from a smaller neighboring town, so the Mistress can consider myself a ‘local’. Lambertville has charming shops, outstanding galleries, classic antique stores, chic restaurants and cozy bars. The homes in the neighborhoods look historic, and they are. But let’s jump back to the cozy bars, shall we? There are few gems in this charming riverside enclave, but a favorite of many - and mine - is the Boat House at 8 ½ Coryell Street.

Yes, that address is right! If you have any interest in classic films, you’ll appreciate the ambiance of the Boat House. You’ll feel as if you’ve stepped into a movie set here. I have a vast knowledge of mixed drinks, wines and beers, and I hear the Boat House has to turn people away on balmy summer weekends because there simply isn’t room because their cock-a-tails are THAT good and they are. One great drink, and my new favorite, is their gin gimlet - straight up honey!

But, back to the Boat House! Now where was I? Ohhhhhh! They make the best gin gimlet I’ve had. It’s smooth, icy, just enough Rose’s lime juice to hint of something faintly sweet, and fresh lime wedge to squirt. Flawless. The Prince's favorite is their Bloody Mary (virgin, yeah, right) with extra olives.Spicy but not too hot, and robust flavor. Even something about the rich, savory olives here makes this drink a standout he said. Some people linger, some stop in for drinks before walking to one of the many great restaurants in town. Either way you’ve got a great night!

The Boat House is a completely cozy, small, sophisticated bar that serves great cocktails in an enthralling atmosphere. The collection of art that covers the dark walls and pitched ceilings here is vintage nautical in nature, with classic overtones. There are fabulous framed periodical covers from decades past, and equally extraordinary watercolors, oils and photographs, many having a sense of intriguing nature. This atmosphere offers rare moments to take in a different time and space, all safely in the comfort of a nearby wood stove or comfy couch. Disclaimer…the wood stove makes it sound rustic, but it’s not. Remember that this place is sophisticated.

The staff is completely knowledgeable and courteous, and the head bartend, Kenneth is younger and aware, but old-schooled in his performance just like the Mistress prefers.Purrrrrfect! Next time any of you are visiting lets meet for a drink at the Boat House shall we? I promise to be on good behavior and use my rain bonnet for severed purpose. Tootles!

The Dating Game, Life at the Sugar Shack!

I has been a while since I talked about who the Mistress has been doing.....I meant, who I have been seeing, he,he, I meant to say. Fluffy, Lady Fingers, and Batina are confused as to whats going on here at the sugar shack! I need a Cliff notes some days! And no Cali-Boi, I won't be sharing all the stories of men. Who has the much time? I have to say when I first split up after a ten year relationship, I was a bit nervous. I though I would take lots of time not seeing anyone, and would I remember how to even date again, and would I want to? But one does get those pesky "stirring and urgings" if you know what I'm saying. wink. After the split I did take about two months just exiled in the Casa du Borghese to "de-tox". And then it started. I went to a going away party for a friend and met a lovely bunch of old and new friends and the dating slowly started to come back. At first I was worried. When your in a relationship it seems you meet lots of people who are interested in you, but you were like "Flattered, but I'm in a relationship." When your single you can't find anyone. This time around it was different. I started to date four different guys, all very different from one another, and I stated up front nothing serious right away, at least not after ten years. I am always initially surprised when I meet a guy who is conventional in appearance. I say ‘appearance’ because they can turn out to be as mad as a bag of cats once you get to know them. Appearance is, of course not everything, shared interests, attitudes and downright magnetic attraction play a part. But, at the end of the day, is it better to end up with a man from the same ‘scene’? And then in some cases, who said anything about talking honey. So for now, I have been living in sin.

So this is the current low down for you gals!

1- The Lad. The Lad is currently the youngest of the men right now. He is pretty much full of energy, mischief, full of lots of life. Sometimes I don't think there is a off switch. We have lots in common, and enjoy each other's company, and we both know where the other is coming from. Neither of us wants anything serious yet, and this a totally good guilty "friends with benefits" here!!!

2- J- Where to start. I have known J for over a year and half. After the split, he came full force in my direction. Now, J is easy very on the eyes, kind hearted, and loves doing all kinds of things of interests. He just also came out of a eight year marriage and has a son. And never stops talking. And way to traditional, religious and conservative. And has some guilty demons over the "gay" thing and the religion thing. After going on several dates and  many a night of sinning, I knew this wasn't working. Plus he was also getting bothered by the distance thing since he lives a hour away. I think we will be friends, but the dating has to ended. Plus he wants the whole package, and that isn't happening at this time.

3- The Prince- The Prince runs in the same circle as the Lad. Yeah. Awkward. But it all happened so naturally. And everything is out in the open. The Prince is a 6'3, blond, has a surf guy look, not my usual type. He also, I think, would like more, but knows where I'm coming from. We do enjoy lots of common interest. Down the road, who knows. He does get my flutter going and I do enjoy his company, so we will see what happens. Only problem is he is not as "hungry" as the Mistress if you get what I'm stepping in! But when it happens, I'm satisfied!!!

4-The Russian- The Russian and I met at work through my co-worker and have gone out several times. We always had a wonderful time, but have since cooled it, and it was clear that was on it's way to a full on physical relationship. Did I need another one like that? No. But oh, that accent........ were still friends though.

5- Mistress Maddie's #1 Fan- Thanks to him, this is how the Mistress got in this mess. He introduced me to three of the above guys, and then left the scene. And no Fuffy, he is not a blogger stalker. He was a co-worker who read my blog. He had no idea that I was the Mistress, till one day he was talking about my blog and then I introduced myself as the Mistress. Neither of us knew for about a year who each other was.

6-The Boy Toy- the Boy-Toy is my current ex and still living to talk about. See, most of my ex's all go unseen and never heard from again. Where do they go? Some say the Mistress eats them like Zeus did his babies. I'm not saying. The Boy-Toy is the ex of ten years, and we still talk and are good friends, even family. And we even discuss our dating woes and stories from the bed sheets!

7-Cali-Boi- I have never met or even talked to Cali-Boi in my life! He is a blog reader, and sends me the occasional flirty email from time to time, and I only included him here so he doesn't have a fit!!!! Oh and btw Cali-Boi, thank- you so much for the tee shirt. I LOVED it!

Soooooo, it is basically down to three currents. I have one who is bed scorcher who does not want a relationship at this time, one who may want a relationship now, who is not so as sexually charged, and another who would like the whole package. Qu'ai-je embarquée? Ah well, I'm just going with and enjoy every minute for now! Any advice? Tootles!

Let's Get Soaking Wet!

Well....the heat here is kicking everyone's backside this week. The temperatures have soared to 101 yesterday so the Mistress and "Prince Charming" were off to the Raven for a day at the pool to enjoy a three day weekend! I had to take a three day weekend because the three day work week last week was taxing!!! In the warmer season, the pool at The Raven is the place to enjoy fun and sun in the area. And see all the local boys and enjoy a refreshing cock-a-tail! Plus all day guys come and go, and their is always some dance track or old school diva song playing.

Yes, that is indeed a raven at the bottom of the pool. And I'm here to tell ya the water was at least 88 degrees, but it still felt good to just get wet. Some of the sights from yesterday-

A papi I think my sister Mame would have loved!

This hottie is Brian. He is the one who brings the Mistress's nourishment. He is so cute and a real sweetheart too!

My drink of choice yesterday was frozen strawberry margaritas. Boy, who knew they hit so fast in this heat?

The lovely Cabana

A adorable couple enjoy the raft

Here are the terrible Croc shoes that Prince Charming wore to save his feet from the hot cement. I hate those things!

By time we left he was passed out from all the cock-a-tails, hmmm, I meant, sun! And he was out!

One last shot before leaving.

It's suppose to be another hot one tommorrow so I may go back again, you know, just to make sure I did indeed have a good time when I was there last! Tootles!

Another Holiday-So Long,Farewell

Their was just a huge swirl of activity and goings on at the Casa du Borghese as the Mistress is departing for a very nice Memorial Weekend/mini vacation! She is leaving to visit the ancestral home for a couple of days, visit family and friends, attend two picnics, and thinking a couple days at the beach again. So in the car went the liqueur case and suitcases, the hat boxes, and the dog! Everything but a damn picnic basket! And this time of year who doesn't enjoy a good cook out and picnic. Of course, I like picnics because a love a nice full basket to take to the picnic. Like these.

Opps. Ahhhhh, yeah, how did that get in there? He,he,he! Oh how embarrassing. Anyway, while on vacation I am going to try and see if I can find something like any of these. My mother use to have a vintage picnic basket, but it got damaged one time when a pipe burst in her basement. So off to find one. But whatever I get it must match my traveling cock-a-tail case! I really love the first one or something like the ones in the second picture. The last one is very handsome too!

I also will be seeing some Prince Charming and J while home and we will most likely do a little club hopping. I just hope they get along. So It will be very nice to relax and breath a little. After returning, I'll be going to a couple different stores to do some work, and with the travel to and from It may be a week or two till I return. So say out of trouble and I'll be reading when I get a chance. And everybody-

Have a Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!!

Art,Food,Wine,Sex

Well, well, well, funny how the weekend passes quickly isn't? I had the option to take the day off but didn't take it. Hmmmmmmm. what was I thinking dear ones. I did have a great weekend though as I entertained The Lad and Prince Charming who came to visit the Mistress, So I decided we would start with lunch at Tria in Philadelphia and then head to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It was so warm we just had to do a little walking tour first before heading to Tria. I had been at Tria before and they have a excellent wine list. The three of us ordered the five glass wine tasting and all of us ordered a "small" cheese and meat selection platter.

Tria relentlessly seeks out the best products both locally and from around the world and I dig their flavor. Their ever-changing fermentation menus are complemented by a cafe menu served from opening to late night. Don't know the difference between Cabernet and Carmignano? Don't worry. Their friendly, knowledgeable staff will help guide you through a memorable wine, cheese and beer experience. I often like hanging out their in the summer and sample wines while men watching! I have also looked into their fermentation classes they have. Next it was off to the Philadelphia Art Museum to view the European Collections wing. I managed one picture of the fabulous rooms settings before I was to have my camera taken from me, so I snapped some of the architecture of the common places in the museum. But the European rooms are all authentic and have been resembled here in this wing. Just Stunning.

.

Then it was time for dinner and we tried a new place Chifa

.

Chifa is aiming for something more sophisticated than the average Chinese dive, serving refined interpretations of Peruvian Chinese dishes in elegant surroundings. Of course the quality of ingredients, service and setting count for something, so it's not unexpected that prices will be higher. But as with most modern takes on traditional cuisines, the Mistress often wonders if the extra cost is worth it. In this case-yes!

I started with an order of Anticuchos which consisted of a skewer of Adobo Pork Belly, Cilantro Chicken, and Ginger Shrimp. Although the pork and chicken portions are pretty tiny, the cubes of meat were less than an inch on a side, they were intensely flavorful. The pork belly in particular was a favorite, but the four tiny cubes disappeared too quickly. The shrimp were tasty as well.

Barbecue ribs were my dinner choice and were very good, and I quickly got over the disorienting lack of any bones in most of them. They had a very nice smoky undertone, with a sweet-sticky sauce, studded with crunchy soy nuts.

After a lovely dinner the boys were off to their hotel and the Mistress went home to tend to Buster Bolfig, take a power nap, and hop the train back in town for the cock-a-tails to commence. We bar hopped for two hours, and ultimately ended up dancing the drunken night away at Voyager. After we slumber at the hotel, where I laid with the Lad, and then left for home in the am, hung over! Talk about a walk of shame. And the front desk boy gave me a look knowing damn well I was in the suite with two other guys. I haven't felt this dirty in years, and it felt nice! Now y'all, I won't beat around the bush. Since becoming a single minx, the Lad and I have had some hot romantic liaisons several times. He is very cute, and young, which has it's advantages- playfulness, endurance and stamina! And did I say stamina???? YES stamina he has. Anywho, Prince Charming also has asked me out just on dates, and he reminds me sort of like a blond surfer. While we have not done the dirty, their is something intriguing about him. We can talk and do others things, but I'm not sure nookie is a high requiriment, but he is fun. Now mind ya I'm not looking for any commitments or long term husband here, but I do enjoy the company of both of them. But I wonder which is better. To have lots of sex without a relationship, or a relationship without sex? I think I'll go with with the flow.....for now. Tootles!
