As in Onyx Ondyx!!! Great name!
Adore Onyx Ondyx, who is one of our Philadelphia based drag queens, burlesque performer, artist, MC and a professional spooky siren and showghoul. Onyx has a spectacular show if you ever et the chance, where she has a horror infused, theatrical show infusing her glam to alternative drag DIY costumes, comedy, fire eating and fire performances, and has a high pain-tolerance sideshow stunts. The costumes are worth the look see alone. Moving beyond traditional formats this creative force regularly organizes drag shows and sideshow events at various local venues. Expect performance that showcase intricate, interactive elements. And she is always highlighting queer talent and subversive aesthetics to support Philadelphia's alternative arts community. I loved this photo shoot she did recently in Philadelphia's legendary Laurel Hill Cemetery, which I have featured several times over the years here, and is something to be seen in its own right. She always goes beyond but come Halloween she has that extra sparkle.
