As I said to Jon from the UK on his blog, how in hell can it be Monday again already? As long as I get my coffee, no one will get hurt!!! Monday...don't rush me!!! Another weekend in Philadelphia again. This time for the Wanamaker Organ Day...a day to see the wonderful boys play their organ! And of course, last week was the Philadelphia Gay Pride and Parade, which seemed to have the highest attendance right next to World Pride. More on both later. But I admit it was great to see the huge numbers of people, and even the allies seem to be getting larger who attend. With talking to several people, it seems we are finally getting enough of the candidates on either side, and how a 2028 election we all agreed we better have far better choices by then. A country with millions and millions of people and we always get the same choices? We have to be better than this??? The festival paid special homage to Philly's huge trans community which I thought was great. Now let the month of celebration continue....and let's just get through Monday, shall we? With so much frivolity and things to do this month, work is just cramping my style I tell ya...
Happy Gay Pride🏳🌈
I can see Six rockin' the shoes!
ReplyDeleteHahaha

ReplyDeleteWell, I guess I didn't need coffee to wake me up after I saw that!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Sixpence will share a photo.

DeleteI did take some pics at Milwaukee pride this weekend, but I was deffo not wearing those Rick Owens!!!
XOXO
He's right Mitchell, he was probably just wearing the speedo and the Opera gloves!
DeleteThat's the way to wake up on a Monday - a huge cock and Miss Vida Boheme!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of enormous organs, glad you had a good weekend watching boys play with it - of course, you were away for World Gin Day... Clink, clink, sweetie! Jx
I didn't post....but rest assure....I had plenty of gin all day Saturday! Hence the table of glasses above. There was a hell of a hang over Sunday.
Delete"Goodness gracious child...how can you see with all that night?"
Glorious mood board today!!!! Bright...cheery...fun...and gay gay gay!!!! I have always thought the parrot should be the official mascot of the gay community! It has all the colors. And wait to see the organ and pride posts.
ReplyDeleteI've thought the same thing about the parrot Mrs.Agnes.
DeleteLoves it!
ReplyDeleteThose shoes!!! And that enormous... Pride? My kind of Pride.
I did Milwaukee Pride (and parade!) and it was fab.
XOXO
Heavens...that one guy...He could uproot a tree with that sucker! Loved the mood board. I have been to Philly and New York City for Pride.....and the sister cities sure do know how to put on a he'll of a party. I also loved the flowers.
ReplyDeleteThat thing would uproot a mighty Seqouia I surmise.
DeleteTundra Bunny here...
ReplyDeleteMaddie, I LOVE your Opera-gloved International Workers' Salute to Mondays! Are you following the Summer Baking Championship on the Food Network? If not, you might want to tune in for tonight's episode on Glamping desserts and get some new ideas for whipped buttercream, LOL!
Alas, I don't get into too many Food Network shows. I watch mayyyyyybe three and not religiously. I watch the shows of these women sometimes... Johanna Gaines, Kardea Brown and Made Easy with Mary Berg.
DeleteSuch wonderful spring colors, and blooms, and men.
ReplyDeleteI must say... you are in a festive mood. Now... I much prefer Priscilla Queen of... Leslie - oops - Wesley Snipes? REEEEAAAAALLLLLY??? I doth buy it NOT. Though I must say Leguizamo SLAYED. As drag movies go, even Connie And Carla is preferred - though any Julie Newmar sighting is always welcome. Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteYou’ve got a lot of thrust and colour going on here! I think you’re going to have a good week!
ReplyDeleteSx
I love the Noxema Jackson!!!!!
