This self-proclaimed grand dame of Philadelphia needs no introduction. Fresh off her monumental run on Drag Race, Sapphira has only blown up bigger, with two national, one queen shows, and now released her first album, with new single, Enough, filmed in and all-around Philly and Voyeur nightclub, and used local Philly queens in the video. The upcoming album, Sapphira co-wrote and performs the whole album and sought to combine her burgeoning love for dance, funk and the opera she's become so famous for. A fun light bop for summer, and the lyrics are positive with a message...so Sapphira.

I really really love her.
ReplyDeleteLove the phrase "You can't love me more than I love me myself and I". Hope she actually puts out a book "Slew foot". I'll read it.
ReplyDeleteShe would have a good read I think. I'd get it too!!!!
DeleteI wish I had a Sapphira Cristál to inspire me when I was a young abused kid. NOT being enough is something I’ve struggled with my entire life. I might just start playing this every morning.
ReplyDeleteYou are enough. San Geraldo thinks so, I think so, your friends think so. I could just give you a hug. You mean something to many around you... I know that for sure and I never even met you.
DeleteThanks, sweetheart. I wasn’t fishing but I won’t throw the compliments back. Rough times in my head. You make the days better.
DeleteOh, Sapphira is amazing.
ReplyDeleteSo much talent! This girl brought some of the most fab costumes I've seen in the franchise. I watched her and Monét Xchange together doing a number and it was fabulous.
There's a bright future ahead of her.
XOXO
She and Monet are good friends, and they now have a show going all the way to the Kennedy Center honey child. Sapphira is amazing. I dare say she may eclipse everyone on her season. She presents the drag community very well in Philadelphia. Go see her if you get a chance.
DeleteThe Philly Drag Scene has to be one of the most vibrant ones out there and I am glad we got to see a good taste of it when Sapphira got on RPDR! Her music videos are even better then Ru's at this point.
ReplyDeleteThat was incredible & I can FEEL the love of the city!!!
ReplyDeleteAs a Philly resident, I’m so thrilled to see Sapphira get well deserved recognition. I’m playing this on loop until it gets trending! What a positive feel good song.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Girlfriend is so brave for dancing in sky high heels on the cobblestone streets of the gayborhood in the Old City.
PPS...Wasn't this your walk of shame location Mistress on Sunday morning?!?!?!?!?!
Well now that's secret is out.
DeleteIf I can't love her as much as she, herself, and her, at least I can come as close as possible.
ReplyDeleteFun video!
ReplyDeleteIt's a good one. But, when you said "bop," well...I was assuming a 60's sound. My bad.
ReplyDeleteShe can do no wrong. And such a positive message.
