Great photos! Not one of my fave flowers, admittedly - I think it's the cone itself which puts me off, especially when it's orange against pink or magenta. Just as well really, because we would never be able to grow them in pots in our partially-shady garden..Jx
I love the colors they come in. I have been doing well with them, and they have even reseeded to make new blooms. But I wanted them as they draw in bees and butterflies. The garden has been doing very well this season.
I have one Echinacea in flower - Hot Papaya - a gorgeous confection of reds and oranges. I spend much of my time in the conservatory rooting out bees that fly and then can't find the door. One idjit bee flew straight back in once I'd released it!
Beautiful! Thanks, Maddie.

DeleteI've never heard of coneflowers. They look like daisies with delusions of grandeur. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI think they may be in the daisy family, not sure. I love their colors.
DeleteOh, I love those bee photos!
ReplyDeleteI love those pictures! That is the first time I've seen a coneflower.
ReplyDeleteSo easy to grow if you have full sun in a garden spot.
DeleteI used to grow coneflowers back when I had gardens. I miss them and it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful... with a quick glance at the bee. Like you with frogs and toads.
