No I'm not being witchy or bitchy. But I'm not to happy it's Monday, and I have to head back to DC again for two more days. Oh well. But with Halloween just a little over a week away, let's gander at these fine witches. It was not uncommon in the 40's and 50's for the movie studios to take actresses and do publicity photos, and many surrounded a holiday. I always found them fun to look at. Hell, I may even wear black underwear today!
Dusty Anderson
June Knight
Jane Adams and Patricia Alphin
Ava Gardner
Veronica Lake
Ann Miller
Penny Edwards and Barbara Bates
Adele Jergens
Madge Meredith
Lucia Carroll
Barbara Britton, Ella Neal, Eva Gabor, Kathrine Booth
Martha Vickers
And said black underwear.
Happy Monday all!!!!!
Guess who wants you for a trick as a treat. Boo!

I love that you love the holiday. It tickles me.
DeleteDon't work too much....but, you can certainly work hard.
ReplyDeleteJust you wait.
DeleteIn Veronica Lake's case, there's an actual movie, 1942's I Married a Witch, which she starred in opposite Frederic March.
ReplyDeleteYes I saw that movie. Pretty entertaining, and she is one actress I think they play very few of her movies, ever.
DeleteHappy Monday, and that's Ann Miller? I kept trying to guess who it was and thought it was someone else.
