Well dumplings, looks like it's the time again....and I know some of you really dig this month, so we find ourselves in drag history month again!!!! This month I plan to feature some of the more popular posts we had with some updating, and sprinkle in some new ones too, in addition to powdering it a bit heavier in the drag queen element, which was what this blogs roots were entrenched in to begin with. We will even see some music to get us threw the days. I may still have some regular post this month, but look for it to be like a behind the drag scene show!!!! And what a better song to get us started then with the gay would's Queen....RuPaul and Back to My Roots!!!
But of course, I can be border line snark and filth, and if you know me, you'll know my true Queen is the legendary Lady Bunny....here spilling major tea on the drag race girls...all of them, set to Vogue. The snarky bitch is brilliant. But if you don't watch drag race you probably won't understand the insults. But the cow is right on RuPaul out of drag....can you say Urkel!!!!!

ReplyDeleteYay, I love this month! I have often thought and wished Bunny would be in a permanent judges spot, instead of Carson or Ross. She just would contribute so much. Imagine her clowning these queens. The level of humor would be so elevated!

ReplyDeleteI don't watch the show so most of this went way over my head. I, however, always thought that out of drag RuPaul looks kind of like a Jerusalem beetle/cricket. In drag, gorgeous!

So kind of funny you started out calling us Dumplins because my post today was about the movie on Netflix called Dumplin that has a great cast of Drag Queens which steals the show and my favorite part!! How's that for the longest run on sentence. LOL.
