HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY

A long Memorial Day Weekend here in the U.S!!!! Any great plans for this weekend anyone?  I'm so glad it's here finally, something always feel good about Memorial Day, and not because men will be nearly naked all season, or because I'll be gone like every other week again on vacations. It just feels fresh, new and the warm sun feels great. Not to mention my social scene swirls much faster. I love Lana DelRey, but no Summertime Sadness till the fat lady sings.

At the Casa we have up our little flags in place to honor those all who have sacrificed so much for this country. Of course the other thing I enjoy is.....

The return of my white denim!!!! I love me some white denim, but it has to fit tight, not loose. Later today the boys will all be in tees and tanks, and the white denim will prevail in the end. These gems landed me my Princeton Professor last summer!!!!!! In the meantime, those little flags up there, were given to me by my good friend the Dame Courtney, who just may make an appearance one day. She too is technological challenged like myself, the dear. We really must stop these afternoon Pimm's cock-a-tails honey!!! Well, the Dame is fond of a good holiday decoration, after all, it is Decoration Day as they used to say, so lets see what she is up to shall we....

yes, as one can see, she is fond of putting just a few things out for the holiday....

And everything you see here is most likely very old and all vintage. I have always enjoyed when she puts out this big stand of flags......

sparklers anyone??? Just light them AWAY form my cock-a-tail please!

Gotta love her for her patriotic attitude. When she catches a draft in the parlor she even has a flag to wrap up in!!!!! Now that's love for your country......

Thanks to the Dame for opening her door to us again, but is her door really ever closed?!?!?

Well...I'm on my way soon to a picnic with some good friends over by New Hope for a good old fashioned fried chicken recipe of theirs with all the fixings and of course, some cock-a-tails! Any plans for you all?

.
Have a Great Memorial Day Weekend Darlings
*PEACE* !!!

  1. Dust off the bbq! Put out the flag. Be thankful all our vets returned home safely over the years. From Gpa in WW1 to BIL in Iraq (the first time).
