A Day with Another Stylist-Rachel!

I would love to say I did something fun this weekend, but all I did was a little shopping and had dinner with a friend so far. And I'm also proud to say I didn't even emerge from the boudoir till around 1:30pm!!! It was only a four day week, but I still worked 48 hours and was exhausted!!! There is much work currently as many of the fall fashion receipts are coming and the store layouts are changing and many store events will be coming fast and furiously at the Mistress. This week my company sent many visual stylist to descend upon our New York location to ready the store and make fashion show preparations for the arrival and un-veiling of the Rachel Zoe Collection of clothing, so a huge lauch party was under way. I was also curious to see what the Zoe would be like, she herself being a very talented stylist. I do believe she seems not anything like on the reality show. And I found her line of clothes to really reflect her personal style. The collection is very luxe. I was shocked to see she wasn't old school though and wore white after Labor Day! I'll have to send her a well worded email on this subject. It was a lot of stressful work, but it was very fun to be chosen to go and have some fun at the launch, and even installing the window that reflects the collection. And it like literally was. not. a .disaster. And even after a few glasses of champagne and ogling the cute waiters, I managed not to make a spectacle. mistress and company even had time to hit Soho one night at the Mercer. You can read about that over at Gals About Town. Now excuse me whilst I go enjoy another cock-a-tail with my guest. Tootles!

  2. She is so going to cut you. Not only do you mention her wearing white after Labor Day but, even more importantly, you misspelled her name. Or maybe she'll just put a horse's head in your bed while you slumber.

  3. Honey, what a day for you! And her clothing looks very chic, and your right it does reflect her style. But.....she looks a hot mess, and I do like her, lol.Why do some white girls think this is cute to look anorexic?Hollywood needs a reality check. Why would her husband find that attractive to screw first off?Its like messing with a lil girl who is not developed or something. Girls think this is so chic or in Vogue lmao. In their minds it makes them look rich, if they are frail and unhealthy looking! Stop it please Rachel and go eat some major amounts of burger!

  5. Good for you on being chosen to go on such a major project. But you know I can't stand her.The piece of zombie hyde wrapped around Rachel "Chupacabra" Zoe's cheek bone must be smelling like musky disdain and ostrich leather, because Tom Ford has just slapped her with his glove and walked away.
Tom's lips are saying that he will keep his new baby locked away in a mirrored and mink tower because he doesn't want to use it in front of the camera like this ugly media whore! Nice pics though honey.

  6. How could she be a person of fashion for other
actors/acteresses. Her style stinks, but I have to admit the show is hard not to watch. And what a great day for you Mistress!

  7. OK I have to admit I like her and jealous you were so close. I would love to have her job! I have to disagree, I love her style, although she does need to do something with her hair! Love you comment about writing her a well wored email! You crack me up! And another intresting side note is her age. Weird - a couple months ago Wikipedia listed Zoe's birth year as 1962, and now it says '71...wonder which is correct. She certainly looks more like she was born in '62.

Those white pants, looking sharp as hell, does need to eat something.Yesterday, while cleaning my lazy boy, I found two peanuts and a broken dorito- let me know where I can send it, it could feed Rachael for a week!!

  10. Wow, I wish I had your job with these kind of perks! She's never looked better to me in these pictures! And I love her show! I still think her husband is gay, but they do make a nice couple.

  11. Very nice Mistress, it looks like quite the show! I do watch her show and most of the time enjoy her, but does Rachel Zoe expect every employee to enslave themselves to her forever? People change jobs all the time. If she wants her employees to stick around longer, perhaps she can evaluate her own management style and create an environment where people want to stay longer. No one's going to work for you forever just because you're Rachel Zoe.

  14. Oh, how cool is this you lucky Mistress! I don't follow fashion but I do watch the show and love it. I hope the show is just as good without her cute assistant Brad! Congratutions on the chance to go and the window.

  15. Oh dear Mistress, I can say I adore and relish your afternoon! I love a good fashion show. While I may be on the wrong side, I have to say I think Rachel is very talented, but I should really take this dear girl with me to one of my muesuem lucheons sometime. A good husband likes to feel some meat on the bones! Ciao darling.
