Have a good one today!!!!
The Mistress plans to enjoy the warmth of the bed...I have the heating blanket on against my nakedness, with chestnuts roasting over a open fire... with some coffee, and catching a few more winks. I don't know how many inches we got yet, but I'll use my stick later to measure it. I plan to pop around later today after some pancakes, a nice winter walk.. and maybe a snow angel or two. Behave till then!
Don't burn those chestnuts!
ReplyDeletevery nice pics
ReplyDeleteIn Milan, until now, it has only snowed on Monday 28 December. I hope it won't snow anymore, because every time it snows here, everything stops because there are problems with car traffic.
Snow or no snow....Milan must always be a pretty city. I have yet been.
Deletethanks!!!
DeleteDarling Mistress,
ReplyDeleteKeep the heating blanket close and take care of the chestnuts.
Stay warm and stay safe.
Oh my lands!!!!! What a treat...where o where have the Hattatt's been? I sure hope life finds you well over in your part of the world. You have been missed.
DeleteIn the cold, some shrinkage may occur, stay warm
ReplyDeletegurl, you watch those chestnuts!
ReplyDeleteWhat are the blue flowers? Would that I could have stayed in bed today, but so far we have had 2 lots of cat sick - who'd have pets? Rules 1 & 2 of cat owning; 1. Do not talk baby talk to your cat, it will only sneer at you. 2. Do not bother telling your cat what not to do as it will do the exact opposite of what you want (like being sick everywhere!)
ReplyDeleteI don't know what they are Helen...but like look so pretty as marzipan candies. They seem to be popular here today. I have only had one cat....and she was pretty darn near the best, well behaved cats.
DeleteSounds like a great idea to me. That's one big stick you have there to be able to check more than 8" of snow. But, then...***some*** of us already knew that! Hugs
ReplyDeleteSill question, but... if the nuts are on your chest, how can they be roasting over an open fire?
ReplyDeleteSilly Dave, Maddie IS an open fire. I hear things.
DeleteOh dear.........
DeleteBe careful when walking about.
ReplyDeleteYour snow depth check made me smile for the first time this morning. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHope you get several inches, dear! I know how much you love it. Jx
ReplyDeleteThese are ALL wonderful... with a couple of surprises! I love how you measured the depth of the snow, but it must have shriveled in that cold.
ReplyDeleteIm hot blooded. You could hear the sizzle.
DeletePancakes? Coffee? Snow angels? Count me in! Can i join you?
ReplyDeleteThe bear suit!!!! Bwhahahahahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteThat drink coffee and be sexy is so you. You'd make sweats look good bitch. I loved the frosted flowers. It is cold as hell here...and the snow is coming down. I won't miss the shoveling this year.
ReplyDeleteBut what will you do if the snow is deeper then 8"
I love the flowers, all looking like they've been dipped in sugar. They made me smile. The snow measure made me guffaw!
ReplyDeleteSee great minds think alike Duchess.
DeleteMarlene... to die for. And PANCAKES! You and me. That is the one bummer about this pandemic (No, pandemic... not Pam... ) (Pam is never a bummer). Know who has the best pancakes? Perkins. Yep. I don't know what it is... but the air to flour ratio is such that they sop up the most butter/butter substitute and maple syrup. I love them. When I die, they are to open my mouth and stuff some of that good stuff in there. Since Covid. None. I try making 'em at home and, yes... they okay, but they not Perkins. Perkins, honey. Gimme all that hot melted butter and syrup... soak 'em in it. Get it all up in there... mmm hmmm. Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteCould you be trying to tell me Perkins has the best pancakes?
DeleteThe snow you're expecting has made the news here.
ReplyDeleteI hope its not too bad.
I love snow as long as I've nowhere to go.
Lovely pics today and I enjoyed accompanying you on your walk yesterday! X
Well...its still coming down lightly. I admit...its pretty outside.
DeleteDo let's us know how many inches you got. Will your stick be up to the job? Nothing like a nice snow day....and force people to say in. Let's have one day of break from spreading the virus.
ReplyDeleteOh the warmth of a bed on a cold snowy day!!
ReplyDeleteI have spent the day in bed fighting a residual headache, nerve-ache, from the shingles I had eons ago. It's sort of like being a light vampire, as I sit in a mostly darkened room, or sleep all day.
ReplyDeleteI do hope you feel better sweet cheeks. Never had shingles...but I hear not pleasant.
DeleteThankfully it last about 24 hours and then I return to normal, or at least what I think of as normal!
DeleteLove that blue flower.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a perfect winter day!
ReplyDeleteWe had nine inches and it was not fun. Nope. Way too much work and we needed special equipment to drive up the driveway. When I tell you I'm looking down on size queens.
But I survived and so did my car.
Drinking coffee and being sexy are your goals every day, no?
XOXO
I dont often stay in bed pass 930....but today went back....and it felt great while watching the snow fall.
DeleteI found the picture of your ass and lamb adorable. Stay safe and keep the chestnuts toasty.
ReplyDeleteThere always seems to be an ass in every post...or is it just me?
DeleteOh my God! I hope you didn't get frostbite from taking that one picture. I also hope that snow wasn't ice. Once upon a time, Harold Ballard's dog sat in for the Toronto Maple Leafs team picture. When it was over, the dog yelped like crazy. It turned out its balls froze to the ice like that kid's tongue on that pole in A Christmas Story!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your stick, and enjoy playing with your chestnuts!
ReplyDeleteSx
The blue flowers are borage.
ReplyDeleteThat was driving me nuts!!! Thanks Christina!
