After leaving P-town, it was back home for three days before departing off to Fire Island. Fire Island has a completely different feel from P-town for me. While I find I can meld myself to my surroundings, Fire Island can come across a bit more snotty then say Provincetown or Rehoboth Beach. The boys of the Pines can get very clicky, but I just ingnore those bitches, but over all, I do find the feeling very magical there. And the trip can be whatever you make of it. For me, it has the amazing architecture of the beach homes of the Pines, and the sandy beaches to tan my fanny, then there is the quaint feeling of Cherry Grove, with it's charming little village. I love that there are no cars allowed, and the use of boardwalks everywhere looks amazing. And I can't lie, my sexual side has enjoyed the meatrack once or twice. But again, it's cool being there, knowing there are no forces against us, since it almost 95% gay. It's like how I would picture gay heaven. It's feels like a brotherhood of sorts. And a good time is had by all. But the deer and there relationship with humans is very magical, for they trust us, since they have no predators there. And the men.woof! And the dancing.
The deer always amaze me.
Here's the male one from a previous post. The female is the one a feed in the video.
Boy, the things these poor deer have seen over the years.
Our hostess Max's, dog, Comet, enthralled by the deer.
And this is Max, our welcoming host who got us up....I meant... put us up. Yeah. And loved the outdoor shower area. Nothing like showering out of doors.
Your Mistress surveying the ocean.
MM #1 Fan getting dinner ready for the house. We all took turns doing that. And don't mind all the hootch on the counter. Ignore it.
At another house one day, I had a wee bit of a crush on this handsome man. Yet again, another Canadian... Adore a man who isn't afraid to camp it up!!!!! Jean.
Kitty Glitter and Shangela at another house party one afternoon.
Every gay man wants to try a wig at one time or another.
At the orgy one night!
Preston captured me passed out on the beach near dusk one evening. For Pete's sake I could have been raped!
I don't know who he was, but he took my breath away at the one house party. Those pecs!
Look at this poor sap, left in the walk away. Must have been a hellva a night for him.
There is always time for a cock-a-tail!
This fabulous queen! This is class people.
One day of rain, when we were at Cherry's in the Grove and then there was this!!!!!
Talk about OZ!!!!
It was actually quite disturbing. I thought I had too much gin and was seeing shit. And with my new infamous wide brim, I was fretting about getting air born and doing an update remake to the Flying Nun.
But then Fire Island had one of the most spectacular sunsets I'd ever seen.
And here's one of the small quaint house parties, I was talking about. Just a few like minded people to mingle with. Small and intimate people. Ahhhhh, the magic of Fire Island.
bet the booze disappeared quickly! that last video looked like open house at the casa! fire island seems like paradise to me, except for that water spout! and that poor blow up doll, used and abused and thrown away like a tissue.
ReplyDeleteSo you have been to the meat rack then.....
DeleteSmall house party????? I would hate to clean up after that. And those dear pictures make me melt.
ReplyDeleteDear or deer? That made me chuckle, because there are both kind here.
DeleteWhat another great trip! I now see why you wouldn't want summer to end. And is max or any of these hunks single? I'm asking for a friend.
ReplyDeleteYep, I need a trip to Fire Island. I also got a chuckle out of the orgy picture, followed by your green clad ass passed out on the beach! Woof! But you can't rape the willing cutie, lol, lol, lol, lol
ReplyDeleteThe tornado funnel is crazy.
I like it all....Calgon take me away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBut the sunset picture got me and the deer. Course you and the boy got to me too daddy.
I too need to go, never been. It never occurred to me about the deer not having any predators on the island. And that house party looks insane, a good time so long as it's not my house.
ReplyDeleteWow! A water spout! Enjoy your quiet time ;-) xoxoxox
ReplyDeleteWanderlust...all of it! My favorite picture is the one of you laying on the beach. Sexy and peaceful. I love outdoor showers too.
ReplyDeleteThe deer are making me melt...among other things. And I adore Shangela!
ReplyDeleteThanks for such a nice post Mistress, it brought a lot of good memories, hot summer days/nights at the beach and the restaurants, spending wonderful times with my friends and my late partner which Fire Island had become one of our most beloved places to spend quality time during the summer season ..!! Cheers Cherry Grove and the Pines..!!
ReplyDeleteMistress you sure do know how to do summer!!! I love this post and can agree with your assessment of the place. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. William and I used to go off and on since the seventies with gay friends of ours, but haven't been back since 2006 and I really miss it. A really special place. If I won the lottery we would get a place here in a minute. And there is lots of walking , don't know we could do that now.
ReplyDeleteI like all the boardwalks. It's too bad we had to build our whole country around cars. And the deer are amazing. This place can be really what you want it to be. I'm vacationing with you next year.
ReplyDeleteAre the stores and bars open in the winter?
no, everything is closed from November to April, really the towns are active May to September. Pines and Grove combined have only about 30 year round residents, about 6000 in summer plus day trippers! In the winter there are almost no boats, ferry goes across twice a day on the weekends only, so you could only get over there for 3 hrs unless you have a house..
DeleteOh Maddie do be careful lying passed out on the beach like that, you could get crabs!
ReplyDeleteHoney, if that’s small, we have to get together to talk about... other endowments. Fire Island does seem to have a different vibe! Loved the pics with the critters! So glad they’re still around!
ReplyDeleteAnd the MENZ! Yowza.
I see why you were fixated on those pecs, but I’ll like the one in the peignoir, green swimming trunks and the blond wig for myself. Kthnxbi
XoXo
Wow darling, just Wow...
ReplyDeleteMy handsome...where have you been? I am very tickled to see you here. We never even ever had sex yet?!?!?!?!?!
DeleteNot Yet....
DeleteOh, deer. Look at all of those young bucks running around. Oh I mean the furry ones. No, not the bears... oh, never mind. I'm glad you had a great time.
ReplyDeleteWe all know, sooner or later, you end up on the beach.
ReplyDeleteWow. A tornado off Long Island. I’ve never seen that! Oh yeah, those other pics, too...
ReplyDeleteMy god it looks like a good time was had by all. And that intimate house party seemed like a ton of fun. And you weren’t passed out in the beach, dear, you were lying in wait for an innocent young gay to shashay your way.
ReplyDeleteI always seem to be open for business these days.
DeleteI've meet Maddie and he is so much fun. I wouldnt mind finding that on the beach.
DeleteI always love your post when you go to Fire Island. I need to get there one day and experience it before I'm old. Had I seen you laying there, I so would have engaged you! Offered to oil you up perhaps? The deer are something, how cool they get so close.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like so much fun. Really. What is it about gay men? They are all so gorgeous, trim and fit...they'd throw me out, kick me off the island! LOL.
ReplyDeleteYou know, that guy taking that shower is going to have to wash under his Speedo, too. Let me slip a bar of soap in there.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea you were such a tease Kirk!
DeleteWhat a lovely time it looks like. Gay straight or whatever it's a beautiful place where ever one is welcome. Peaceful and lovely, the beach and deer look like.
ReplyDeleteHi to you my friend! I went to Fire Island when I was 17 and still had not "come out" yet...though i went with an older guy I had met in the baths when I was cruising! I'm from Montréal Canada...and as I recall...so much cruising and the people were beyond so friendly! Gotten old now but this still remains in my mind as one of the best summers i ever spent. Wish I could return to see what it looks like now. Your post and pictures Ii enjoyed so much! Wish I could get to know you more...Love and hugs to you! michelamgelo from Montréal.
ReplyDeleteYou and your friends sure do know how to have a good time! Friends of mine used to have a house there and would invite me. I love it there.I have so many memories but none of us have been back since the house was destroyed in Hurricane sandy.
ReplyDeleteNever been, but those deer would be worth the trip alone and seeing those tra dances.
