COME OUT, COME OUT.......

This, being the first Monday and all of the month, I thought what a better time to wish all Happy Pride Tidings. If you go to a Pride in your area for whatever reason, just make sure your there with Pride and be proud, and if your reading this...don't be shy, come out when your ready, but what better time to come out and be amongst kin during Pride month.....

so come out, come out, wherever you are....

And worry not. Dorothy will never leave you!!!

  2. Happy Pride, Mistress! I hope you don't mind, but I'm stealing some of your fab images. I especially loved the one of Miss Richfield 1981 sewing the pride flag alongside Betsy Ross sewing the stars 'n stripes, LOL!

    1. Isn't she a hoot! I love that picture. Miss Richfield does a lot with the Philly tourism here. She knows how to drum up the business.

  3. Happy Pride! My favorite is the guy's t-shirt, of course. Now, go skip down your own yellow brick road and never worry about what others think.

The "...Oz" clip includes a friend of mine - to fill in Munchkinland, they used children.

    Hugs!!!!

  8. Full on support from this girl, this month and always. And your right, come out when your ready, is key. Otherwise it can be very disastrous. But I do agree, if one does come out, this month or Pride festivals, it is a great time to meet people and out reaches for help. A good friend of mine as been tortured over time in the closet. She told me years ago, and I could see it was taking a toll on her. She just came out, only recently because I showed her something on your blog. I can't remember what it was now, but she called me later that night and said she spent four hours reading your blog. It sank in to her all the life she has been missing. But what really sank it in was in one post your quote of "Live, Live, Life's a banquet and some poor suckers are starving." She decide to come up... to all, and your favorite quote is now hers. So who to thank...you, Auntie Mame, Rosalind Russell? I have always loved your blog, I know your blog is funny and campy at times, and you may think at times campy fun nonsense, but is changed her world. She will be going to her first Pride festival this summer!!!!!!!!!! So her and I both thank you for your post and humor, and just posting!

    1. Thank-you for so much to you and your friend. Your comment really touch me this evening. It's nice to know if our posts make someone's day, or can inspire just one person, it's all been worth it, even when we haven't tried. Happy Pride Month to you both!

  10. I doubt if I'll be seeing any Gay Pride parades here in rural Tennessee. Anyway, it's raining so damn much that all the colors would "run" on my rainbow flag.

In honor of the month, I thought about going to the local Walmart in drag. Perhaps I could go as Joan Crawford?
The only problem is that when the lynch mob comes after me, it would be difficult to run in heels....
