AUTUMNAL MORN

I sure hope everybody is having a very nice weekend!?!? After my busy week at work, I decided to take it relatively easy around the Casa du Borghese this weekend. I got caught up on some of my shows and my blogging. I also broke out my autumn décor, yes, it's true, and to my dismay I gave in and put summer to bed, as much as it broke my heart. I'll share with what I did soon!!! But it was still a very nice weather weekend, beautiful, sunny, and warm temps though, so I was happy as a calm.  I'll be heading into Philly later for brunch, but early this morning when I took Buster out, I noticed all the Zinnias are vibrant as all get out. I just love zinnias, there definitely a happy flower......

And of course the feeding frenzy on the window sill  brought the usual suspects. I have the feeling Bob, Anne Marie and the Huntress's cat's would be licking their lips at this site.....

Bonnie and Cylde and friends....

Blue jay... Zeus, he can get feisty at times.... He like the dried fruit and berries I put out.

The Chicka, dee,dee,dee's,.....

These two have shown up two weeks ago, and upon research found out their Nut Hatches. They make a very cute sound.

On the ground level. the Golden Finches I noticed are getting a more dull coloring now. Soon they will migrate, and the house finch will stay behind.

Bouvier was even out...looking for nuts and acorns.

Meanwhile back inside, I had me some Buttermilk Bread my Aunt sent me, with my morning coffee and sat back and watched over the animal arena.

And let us not even discuss the deer and fox around here. Two fox show up every night late. One night, while on the steps enjoying a cock-a-tale and Cuban, one stopped right in front of me, and we starred at each other for about a couple minutes, only a foot from each other. If they keep this up, I'll have to name them too.

    1. I will generally hear his squawking in the vicinity, so I will grab camera, and have ready. Sure enough, he lands.

  11. If Zeus showed up at my place, Torrie would have him for lunch. Never mind the fact he probably outweighs her.

But I miss having birds in the trees where I live. They're probably still sunning themselves north of the Lair as we speak.

    1. Yes, I love that big old tree outside my windows. Not only provides bird activity, and keeps the place cool, but provides privacy. I case I streak through here naked.

  13. I assume your in the suburbs somewhere, did you say Philadelphia? I lived in the suburbs for years, but now live in the downtown area where I live. I get out, but miss all the lakes, woods, and trails of where I was, not to mention the quitiness, I also miss the birds and wildlife I fed. So I'm so loving and jealous of this post!!!

  16. By the next post, I'm sure you'll open the windows, while making pies, while the birds fly in and fly about singing, all the while feeding rabbits from your hands. Disney will wet themselves.
