It's always so hard to find a new salon and a hair stylist that one can click with, sometimes a downright frustrating, and stressful time. About two years ago I did a post on that when my longtime stylist was leaving to go to another salon to far for me to travel. Talk about a upsetting time!!!! In time and after three salons, I did indeed find another salon that fits me and what I look for. I have been happy ever since, and the stylist who cuts my hair is so cool. I love carrying on and cutting up! I always like to have someone who is also like a good bartender, someone who can tell you about the latest "hot" items or styles, and someone you can have fun with, and tell you the truth about your ideas. The place where I go is always busy, bustling, but Saturday I was over bright and early, the second person in as a matter of fact, which was so nice, as I'm not much of a morning person. Now I KNOW what time to go from now on. With fall encroaching, and after three years of roughly the same short cropped, shaved sides, look I have, it's time for a change. I have two styles, almost similar to each other, so from here out, it's time to grow the hair out!!!!
Love the messy look on top, but the shorter sides on this one.
but I'm loving the longer look and the way higher rumbustious look of this one. I may even
let the stubble grow to match the look.
My stylist has said he believes both will suit my facial frame. So not much was cut this time in anticipation. Since my hair cut was much less, I even treated myself to a manicure, which a usually reserve for the spa day I take once a season, but what the hell. And the team that makes all this happen.....
See why I enjoy going to see my stylist?!?!?
go for pix #2's look and the stylist is HAWT!
ReplyDeleteThe Engineer wishes he still had the option..... ;-)
ReplyDeleteWell, if I do ever go bald, I could just go in drag with wigs permanently ..........
Delete"Oh, Tracy Turnblad! She's a hair hopper, that's what she is!" Jx
ReplyDeleteListen" Tracy's flamboyant flip "is all the rage", Miss Edna. Jackie Kennedy, our first Lady, even rats her hair.

Both of you.... 'your ratted hair is preventing yet another student's geometry education."
DeletePic #2 looks like Jakeypoo.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more!!! I have a wonderful stylist, and dread the day she ever tells me she's leaving. I myself also like #2, better for the fall I think.
ReplyDeleteHuh, yeah, does he man scape too?!?! hawt! Since meeting you both of those cuts would suit you, love the second one also.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more about finding a new barber. I have one a like now, but it took a while. And go for #2. I think it would look very sexy!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of 2, just work that hair wax!!! And if your stylist does more than hair.......say yes!
ReplyDeleteIs that all the hair he is trimming?
ReplyDeletegreat looking salon, hot looking barber...I like both haircuts myself, but go for 2, I know I like to run my hands through a guys hair.
ReplyDeleteI just adored this post, the truth how we seek the perfect place and that comfort level. And the perfect hairstyle, we're all looking for that , no?
ReplyDeleteIf everything fails…there is always a fancy hat!
ReplyDeleteHe could cut my hair anytime. I like both style myself, both wicked sexy.
ReplyDeleteThe hairdresser is almost as gruelling as visiting the dentist for me!
ReplyDeleteWhen out of drag I definitely have " hair fatigue" as a boy and in seach of a hair style that will allow me to rule the world!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell hon, I can't help and give advice, I've been going to the same beauty parlor for 15 years now. I think its the wine they serve!!! But both styles look ever so handsome.
ReplyDeleteI've been doing the Choppy Top, Shortish Sides for a couple of years now and I love it because, even when it looks really messy, it looks like it 's supposed to look like that!
ReplyDeleteBut, um, yeah, your hairdresser could work me over for a new style.
I know how bad it can be after a favorite stylist leaves, and find the perfect person.years ago I got my hair cut short like Halle Berry used to have her hair , upon recommendation, and hated it!!! I was scared to go anywhere again for years.
ReplyDeleteI can't decide which I like better, there both hot looking! I love the look of your salon you go too.
ReplyDeleteOMG! So funny you took us with you! Why is hair such a perennial and universal problem?
ReplyDeleteI love both, would love to try the second myself, but I always seem to struggle with my hair, or choose a style. I usually chicken out.
