Stop the Car- A&F

Stop the car, I smell an ignorant bitch! Just a while ago I was perusing my blog list and came across this post over at Bob's.  Check his snark side on things, quite funny.  The title of Ignorant Bitch is yet again....... Ambercrombie & Fitch, I know, no need to clutch our pearls, since they are always being ignorant bitches, or making young boys pose nude and "worked up" or being prejudice to some minority, or telling  The Situation he can't shop there. Now this from  Mike Jeffries, the CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch..

“We go after the cool kids. We go after the attractive all-American kid with a great attitude and a lot of friends. A lot of people don’t belong [in our clothes], and they can’t belong. Are we exclusionary? Absolutely.”Mike Jeffries

Now, apparently what he is saying is unless your thin, beautiful, a hot jock, or someone who looks like they have to eat a sandwich, you don't belong in their stores.  When is this company just going to go belly up? I have never seen a company exclude shoppers like this. Probably not a wise move in this economic climate. And you most likely remember their  catalogs right? I am shocked Mr Jeffries hasn't cut the girls out yet! And a snippet from Bob's post-

Now, A&F has had many requests by non-profit organizations to have the ‘blemished’ clothing donated to areas of need but the company refuses: "Abercrombie and Fitch doesn't want to create the image that just anybody, poor people, can wear their clothing. Only people of a certain stature are able to purchase and wear the company name."

Ignorant bitches I say! And speaking of Mr Jeffries have you seen him........

Looks like Janice Dickinson in male drag to me. And he has the balls, at least I think there still there, to say only hot, attractive people can shop their dump!?! They can all go choke on there own moose dung. And this your Ignorant Bitch for this segement.

  2. Not that I want to give them money, and but since I'm a fat drag queen and wear a size 20, I am going actively hurt the A&F image by purchasing three shirts from A&F and sewing them together. Try and stop me!

  3. My guess is that Mr. Jeffries was not accepted by the "cool" kids in school and never got over it, and still hasn't, not with that mug and plunger lips! Meanwhile their stock in plummeting.

  4. Use to wear there stuff when I was younger and smaller, but now my chest can't get in their shirts, and I think, I wouldn't want it too.

  5. What's a shame is that some kids secretly squirrel away every penny to buy Abercrombie clothes, what a waste. Sad part is their clothing actually hold up, but who wants to give those people money.

  6. The thing is, by his own standards, Mike Jeffries shouldn't be allowed to wear his own clothes. When I saw him, I found myself wondering what exactly Gary Busey had to do with A&F.

  7. He's the last person that should comment on what's cool and beautiful

That mug is the reason why pillow cases were invented.

I should find a couple of AF shirts, sew them together, cut the sleeves and neck, and then wear it the next time I work on my car.

Someone ought to check out their hiring practice which pretty much reflects their customer attitude.

    Shameful.

  11. Stop the car-I smell an Ignorant Bitch!!!!!,lol. Never stop being you Mistress!

I believe honesty is the best policy. Mike Jeffries might have taken that a step too far, however. I guess we'll soon find out if any press really is good press.

Mike and his company don't care about the majority of the population. I think it's time we stopped caring about him and his company. The only reason people shop this joint is beacause they think, by some miracle, they will resemble the ads and look hot. And who in hell wants to shop in that gawd awful fog of stench that's in there stores?

  13. Todays kids have already have it extremely hard everyday trying to fit in with other peers who, have either very low esteem, or were never taught to respect others. I cannot believe an adult (let alone) a CEO of a company would condone passing judgement on our kids(his customers) whether they fit some absurd image of a good looking american kid or not.

  14. Oh, hence why your using those polos now as dust rags and web catchers.

  15. And that's why the truly cool kids refer to that store as Aberzombie & Bitch.

  20. i have to laugh because the last time I pass one of these store both my son who is a little chunky and my younger brother who is lucky to be a size 0 both informed me that they were way to good looking to shop there and they didn't want to out shine the models. In my son's case i just can't afford them plus he doesn't fit there image.
