It's just a plain old fact, I just love my plaids. This season I went and picked up Ralph Lauren's newest plaid pants and they fit like a glove. The outfit came in perfect for my Saturday outing to Longwood Gardens in Kenneth Square. I wonder if I was in Scotland Tabitha would even talk to me in this get-up?
Of course with the threat of rain I also grabbed my plaid umbrella with Scottie dog handle. Too much plaid? I do looooove my plaids so. And not to shabby looking if I ever need a cane! Of course the fur scarf was extremely warm, and I add it to many different outfits. Now mind you , I have never wore plaid pants before, but I sure did get some nice comments that afternoon, and one half flirtatious comment at the pub later.
After the Lad enjoyed my outfit it was off to the gardens, upon entering, seeing my favorite bird, the peacock!Onere is going to be one of these at the Casa!
I really do love the fall season, but it's the cooler tempts I dislike. Since getting older, I have noticed I mind the cold more so much more than before.I'll take the hottest summer day, anytime. But I do love the colors of the season, the fall plantings, and my sweaters. Longwood Gardens looks lovely for every season, Christmas and Spring being the most spectacular.
After the walking and me getting chilled to the bone, we hit the Dandelion Pub on the way home so I could par take in some Ginger Sidecars to warm up...and it did just the trick. Tootles!
gardens are gorgeous!
ReplyDeletei had a plaid leisure suit that i adored, wore the hell out of, looked good in, but never thought to have someone photograph me in it.
those pocahontas braids have to go.
I'llhave you know, the pocahontas braids are part of my upcoming Thanksgiving dinner look. You know how long it took to grow them?
DeleteLoverly fall garden :-)
ReplyDeleteWearing all that plaid, I would have thought you'd order a Rob Roy to drink!
ReplyDeletecool outfit and the gardens looks nice too. Your gardener must be tired?
ReplyDeleteTalk to you? I'd be copying you! I love this look, I am dying for a pair of tartan trousers but don't know if I can pull them off, they just make winter look so cosy.
ReplyDeleteThey do seem to make winter more cozy somehow. I worried about the same thing, of pulling them off, but I sure you would look smashing in them!
Deletelooking good darling and beautiful gardens may I come take a stroll through them
ReplyDeleteanytime darling
Deletetartan print rocks. I love the garden and agree with you about the cold weather. I still can't believe how much my shoulder bothered me the other morning when it was just above freezing for the first time this fall.
ReplyDeleteI like my plaids, I even have a plaid pair of boxersbriefs lol
ReplyDeleteThose pants are adorable and much less "bright" than my pair which have a red base color.
I guessing the boxerbriefs must be a favorite of the boyfriend??????
DeleteWhat a great day! Nice gardens and a handsome guy. And I love that the pants are loose! I love plaids too!
ReplyDeleteFirst off, love the outfit! Those pants are hot! I don't have the balls to pull those off. I love Longwood Gardens, and go every season, but I may have o do the sidecar ina addition.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of you on the chair, regal and sexy. Course I love a guy in a turtleneck. I need to go to those gardens again. Christmas is out of this world there.
