Well,well,well, it has been quite a while since the Mistress was in the blogosphere!!! On dear me, where to even begin! Except I did discover a new drink I just fell in love with...a ginger sidecar! Between that and the weather getting very cold, it was time to break out the fur hats and chubbies! And how I missed all of you!!!! I'll be taking forever to get caught up on all the blog reading. Contray to popular belief, the Mistress was NOT in the Betty Ford Clinic,(she wore out her welcome their looooong ago), she was also not seeing a sultan in the Middle East and was also not sold into drag slavery! Although I would like to send a big THANK -YOU to my good friend and sister Mame, aka David Dust for getting word out about my unfortunate gin accident with the keyboard. All was not lost though, with my dandy straw and sucking abilities I was able to salvage most of the top self gin out of the keyboard, but the damage was already done!!!! I have been good, just busy as hell. We had three major store visits to tend too, not to mention installing all the Christmas trim at the store, requiring some long hours. I was just to tired to blog when I got home. Our new wreaths this year weighed in at 80lbs each! Try lifting those suckers all day for a week! And then the laptop went haywire and finally died. After getting a new one, being all computer savvy, it took me forever to get everything back in order! And then there was all the holiday happenings over the Thanksgiving holiday and travel. Some other changes also took place which I'll share later, and my day with the crew in New York for the Christmas stores tour to view our windows and all the others. So now that everything is back on track, I'll will have lots to share. And tomorrow is a long overdue day at the spa for the full works!Just in time for all the holiday parties to start. I sure hope Fernando still has those strong hands! I also thank all of you who sent me text message! I loved them! And if I learned anything. Keep the damn gin away from the laptop! Tootles!

If you drink your gin from a straw like I do, you wouldn't have to worry about such spillage. Besides, using a straw keeps the juices off your teeth and preserves them for later lash outs!
