Well here we are on Monday again.
Funny how these weekends just fly by, and yet again I feel like I've been robbed. Another beautiful weekend weather wise ...if these temperatures and mildness last, which it looks like we will be in those high 50s by the end of the week, it looks like the Snow Queens jig might be up. The spring bulbs are finally pushing through the ground, but we're a ways off from a lot of color yet. As for me I will miss winter a little bit. No doubt the atmosphere looks very pretty covered in white. Although to be honest I will miss my cashmere sweaters, turtlenecks and cableknit sweaters. I love a good winter sweater and layering up. But if spring wants to come ahead who am I to stop? Next weekend I'm supposed to be joining friends on Harrisburg's ice sculpture walk. But the temperatures slated to be in the high 50s...its going to probably be more like a waterfall show.
I love this week's mood board. It's cozy. I like my winter sweaters, too. It's too warm for them now.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
It's a snowy, wintry day here -- I'm staying inside for today and tomorrow. By Wednesday, all the streets will be plowed and it will be nicer temperatures.
ReplyDeleteYou poor things. Soon as you get a little tempting of spring, it never fails you guys get dumped on!
DeleteAt first I had a chill. Thanks for throwing in some images to warm me up.
ReplyDeleteWhich worked better...the men or the sweaters?
DeleteMistress Maddie:
DeleteThere were sweaters?
So many beautiful images.
ReplyDeleteTundra Bunny here...
ReplyDeleteI feel like that avalanche is heading straight for me today... all of our snow had melted almost a month ago, but thanks to an Alberta Clipper, it's been snowing here non-stop for two days! A good day to curl up with a book and coffee...
Or in my case curl up with a gin and tonic and good man!
DeleteTundra again...
DeleteUnlike you, I can't find good houseboys, LOL!
I love that classic Porsche in the driveway. I'm sure that car would still be worth six figures even if it's just a functional rust bucket.
ReplyDeletePorsches are cool but the vintage ones are spectacular. Absolutely love the silhouette of them.
DeleteMay the willing garçons de la maison keep you warm. :-)
ReplyDeleteTippi Hedren in Marnie? Hhhmm, interesting.
ReplyDeleteI think that is Kim Novak. I could be wrong.
DeleteCorrect Kim Novak.
DeleteOMG it's 65 here today.
ReplyDeleteI'm telling you, these temperatures are insane. Love the mood board. You had ABBA and I was sold.
XOXO
I've been on one of my ABBA kicks this weekend. I swear I think I can hear Anne Marie groaning in disgust up and fabulon.
DeleteI wish I too know where these weekends went? Loving the dalmatian!!! And I'm more than happy to help take those sweaters off these guys!!!!
ReplyDeleteI liked the avalanche
ReplyDeleteIt's on right, they're sort of something calming about watching it.
DeleteLoved the dog photo.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Hope the Houseboy didn't leave any chores undone before heading my way. And we apologize for the no notice, it was an emergency - we swear! He'll be home shortly.
This one's on the house you can keep him!
DeleteExpecting 60 here this afternoon, time to put the top down on the little car.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget your head scarf and sunglasses.
DeleteAbba used to wear some god-awful clothes, even for an era known for hideous stuff.
ReplyDeleteI have 22 different types of plants in flower, some of which should not be out for several weeks. My snowdrops have been ruined by all the rain we've been having.
It's much too early here for flowers yet. If the temps stay warm this week and next we may be lucky to see the early spring crocus and grape hyacinth.
DeleteHere in South Carolina it's feeling more like spring. My current project for tomorrow is to kill some grass before it gets out of control when I actually becomes spring and summer
ReplyDeleteCurrently here it is sort of mucky and dead looking still. But our warm temps should change that soon.
DeleteI do so love your mood boards! I also love sweater weather, mostly Fall, but I've been excited lately that the sky is starting to brighten by 6am now. I wonder, if that nice Korean man fourth pic from the bottom swings both ways. I can speak some Japanese, but I might have to learn Korean because they seem to be introducing some mighty fine-looking men to the world lately. Like most Asian cultures, I too am a sucker for high cheekbones on any nationality!
ReplyDeleteOh yes Asian and Korean men!!!! I will admit to liking it dark when I get up...for some reason I find it easier to get up compared to light out. But I love when the longer daylight at night will arrive.
Deletelove the dalmatian so much!
