REHOBOTH...ALIVE AND WELL

Hello to all my darling peeps!
What a glorious summer season for this gin and tonic professional! I have been having a hell of a time since being back. Being so loose and relaxed, I have been very bad with pushing the houseboys with getting the joint cleaned up and getting me unpacked. This vacation started in August in Rehoboth Beach, a sort of home away from home for me. I was joined this trip with the Capital Street Duo and friends Nevin and Kalen. Their all crazy. But a good time was definitely had by all if I recollect, in this lovely spigot of sandy gay beach, and award winning pizza and fudge shops. Here are some gratuitous beach snaps from this gam of the trip.
One day the surf was so strong, it took my square cuts clean down, mooning the whole beach!!!!! At least I got some applause for the free show.
The homes in Rehoboth are truly stunning.
Our B&B had a lovely courtyard and succulent garden. The guy in charge of the gardening gave us a lesson in how to take care of succulents...although he has some nice succulents himself! I was told one morning that in the hot tub the night before, my jumblies were being man handled. Hell. I don't even remember that.
Ah..shiny objects!!!!!
A chandelier in the courtyard, or the Mistress's earings?
Here's is the Master Russ with a huge cock on his face. Imagine waking up to that.
And here is Nevin playing a human size Jenga game, which he was a whiz at!
You know it's a gay beach when you see 9 queens floating on a unicorn!
My reading material. Too gay?
New friend Peter's buns with little popsicles on them.
And when he flipped, there was a real sucker!
New friends from DC. They were such a pair of mischievous minx's
Battle of the Beach bulge.

Did someone say Thrasher's Fries???
And of course you know there were cock-a-tails starting with breakfast everyday...at the Blue Moon...
Or at the lovely Egg, located on Rehoboth Avenue. The owner Missi was wonderful to talk too, and is running a top notch eatery, probably my favorite new place in Rehoboth. Egg is a country-themed bistro with an emphasis on good, fresh, home-cooked food paired with the appropriate complimentary beverages. I wish her well.
This fellow, Bailey was behind us one day at Egg.
No trip to Rehoboth is complete without seeing the fabulous, crowd pleaser, Magnolia Applebottom for her Games with Magnolia Night at the Blue Moon. Kalen was selected one night for her Family Feud style game and won!!!! Mags is not to be missed when you go peeps!
This sweet treat.
I'm respecting what ever he is dishing out, mkay?
Whew, a review of that trip to Rehoboth makes me realize I need to secure my girdle and rinse out my square cuts before the next post to Costa Rica – pronto!

  4. Mistress that is only the beginning? I sure hope when the Costa Rica trip rolls in you got some rest? Rehoboth is our favprite beach point too. Everyone is so friendly and we go when the off season hits, as William is very jumpy in the tidal of big crowds. I enjoyed those beach sea pictures a lot. I can almost hear the waves and see your lush buns in the surf. But I find those sea gulls to pesky for my liking....I just enjoy the beach bulges. Does that make me a dirty old woman?

  9. We had an an amazing time in Rehoboth years ago and we only stopped there to kill time while traveling to OCMD. People were extremely friendly there and the beach and boardwalk are very clean, and not tacky touristy like other beaches. We want to go back, but I wish our host had sexy legs and nice pouch like you have!!!

  11. What a lovely summer post, I can almost smell the beach and fries. Magnolia looks like an entertaining time. The only thing I hate about the beach is the sea gulls...Watch out for the seagulls that will dive right up to you looking for free eats.

  13. What Funtastic fotos! Love the spectacular beach and waves. The people look colorful and fun! Gorgeous plants, especially those desert looking ones. The dog is beautiful. You've captured the fun and festive atmosphere of the place.

P.S. I am horrified by the number of flying rats plaguing the beach! The town could use a few extra cats and seagull hunting raptors!

  33. Lovely, envy-inducing photos as always! And one for me - Thank you for the big, wet groyne!!! I shall have to let Dinahmow know about this as she likes a big slippery one as well...

I think I'd like a holiday home in Rohoboth. Those houses are most stylish, and with the beach (with all its treats) only a stones throw away, I'd spend a lot of time there. Although, I'd have to invite Tippi Hedren to act as a decoy for all those gulls!
