Now I know every week, the Candy Shop is filled usually with beyond cuteness, that doe eyed look, fine creatures who grab our attention, some fur sometimes, and the owner has a pair of nuts. And you'd be right. And this week there is no exemption. This week meet Jill....
Jill is a squirrel who was rescued by her humans in Louisiana after she fell from a nest and was taken in. Since then Jill and her owners are inseparable. Jill is not camera shy, loves playing, and giving antics all over the house. She even shares the house with a dog and a gasp....cat! She enjoys taking naps and her owner even has pouch like necklines where Jill will nap. Their bond is amazing. Jill also goes outside, but always returns to her humans As you may be aware, I have a fairly tame squirrel named Bouvier, who lives out doors in the tree by my kitchen windows. Most mornings he comes running over to get his daily peanuts, and he even takes them from my hand. When my friend came across Jill's Instagram she told me you have to check her out. I've been smitten since. You must thinks I'm nuts, but nature still amazes me. You can check Jill out at here.
After seeing this, you probably think I'm nuts! Today the Candy Shop was sponsored by the lovely people at Studmuffin.
Endorsed by the Mistress, but of course.
So friggin' cute!
ReplyDeletethink your nuts? I know your nuts.
ReplyDeleteI wondered if that rat bouvier was still after your nuts?
YOU of all people KNOW the mistress' nuts!
DeleteYes, Bouvier was just on the living room window sill today Thank goodness I was dressed.
DeleteOMG!!!!!!!!! No denying..... the Candy Shop delivers cuteness as always. That is amazing.

ReplyDeleteYou threw a loop this week!!!!! But cute none the less. I too follow her Instagram. Jill is feisty with that tail.
ReplyDeleteLOL,LOL,LOL! My cat is not amused right now. But I find Jill very cute. Maybe Bouvier and her can meet and have a squirrelmance? Bonds, they boggle the mind.
ReplyDeleteCute overload!
ReplyDeleteMy cats would go nuts.
Hey LX! I do believe Jill would give Lola and Nikko a good work out dear.
DeleteDefinitive statement with a furry tail! Warmed my chockes today.
ReplyDeleteHow very very sweet! Our outdoor squirrels spend a lot of time at the birdfeeders and usually ignored by the dogs when they are inside. They still pretend they can catch them...
ReplyDeleteOne time at my mothers, Lilith, unfortunately did catch a poor squirrel. I think she felt bad after.
DeleteI am now in a melted pile of goo from my heart! That is beyond cute. I want a squirrel now.
ReplyDeleteDing, ding, ding! Heart-warming post of the day.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwwww, how adorable. I like squirrels, but never knew how cute they were till I saw one up close. Jill must keep her neck warm.
ReplyDeleteI would love a squirrel to keep my neck warm at night.
DeleteAwwww! My Maltese, Cujo, would want to play with her. My semi-toothless Bichonpoo, Bella, would try to gnaw her to death!
ReplyDeleteI love little furry rodents.
My Buster would most likely curl up beside Jill and take a nap.
DeleteI hard toss up between Jill and last week's candy. Both very warming.
ReplyDeleteSo very precious!!!!!
ReplyDeleteawwwwwwwwwwww, so tame & loving!
ReplyDeleteI never figured MM's Candy Shop would feature candy of the female variety, but, dayum, Jill is adorable!
ReplyDeleteApparently as many come for the squirrel as they do the hot candy!
ReplyDeleteAnd it's a win win. We like the nuts and so does Jill. She is adorable. Love the Studmuffin sponsor.
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable!!! Jill is one fortunate squirrel.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm in love. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteI like anyone with a big bushy tail.

How lovely to see such a good natured, adorable squirrel. The ones around here will have your arm off if you're holding some nuts!
ReplyDeleteHell, I always seem to have a hand full of nuts.
DeleteJill wouldn't happen to be a girl's girl squirrel, would she?
ReplyDeleteADORABLE!!!!!!!!
