As you may have guessed, I have finally settled nicely into the fall season with my favorite holiday coming fast....Halloween. Candles, woody and spicy scents and rich colors make the season. I also survived my birthday festivities and thank you all for your warm wishes!!! I have also been viewing all the swell horror movies in the evening, which add all the more to the scare factor. Here's so sights from around the Casa for the season.....
Where some of the magic happens...the parlor!
A vintage light up from my childhood. Do they even still sell them???
I told you I love candles!!!!
Love my bar, I mean china cabinet. One of the best purchases I ever made. A few fall touches on top.
One night while out, a good friend gave me this as a gift. I can't tell you how it creeps me out.
Apothecary jars!!!!!!
Buster standing near the pans. A hint he wants dinner????
Where MOST of the magic happens!
And a wig in the middle stages for the Wig Out party for Saturday night. This wig is actually two wigs and about a foot high! There was a dry run tonight with the outfit, wig will be finhed tomorrow night. My friend was very impressed I was able to tuck "IT" all!
Gorgeous and very cozy. xoxoxox
ReplyDeleteWhat a warm, inviting autumnal atmosphere. I love the china cabinet!
ReplyDeleteThat skull with which you were gifted unnerves me....
On a second inspection, the skull looks kinda whimsical...and happy...
DeleteI can tell you this, when Halloween is over, I'm packing the skull up, or it will become a give-a-away!!!!
DeleteTuck it all? I don’t understand. Tuck all your hair under the wigs? I don’t know what else you could be talking about.
ReplyDeletehuh.......well, not QUITE talking about hair.......
DeleteI don't know how you could tuck even half your junk?!?!?!? Love the parlor...i remember well crashing on that comfy sofa on a visit.
ReplyDeletebut did you Stay on the sofa?
DeleteAll I CAN SAY THAT WAS A WHOLE LOT OF MAN ON THAT SOFA!!!!
DeleteSo warming your place is. I love the neutral and earthy colors.i have since done little fall touches around my house too.
ReplyDeleteDid buster help cook?
tuck? you mean wrap around your thigh several times, correct?
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be like battening down the hatches honey!
DeleteLove the Jack-o-Lantern light! Retro chic!
ReplyDeleteI love your place. You prove just because you have an apartment or small place, it can still be nice and fashionable. I need to get off my a ss and get help. Hint.....hint....
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely habitat, Mistress. I do so love a made bed when someone else makes it. That wig is a headache just waiting to happen! The thing that creeps me out the most is those thingies with the holes. What the heck are those things?
ReplyDeleteWhen you said holes I had to make sure my bloomers weren't in a picture!!!! The are seed pods that I got at the market. In nature, you will sometimes see the big seeds still in the holes. Not good to see if your a person who has that fear of holes, likes pods, honey combs etc.......
DeleteWell, I've never been afraid of them, except the ones I know will cut a bitch! Oh, holes...nevermind. Thanks for the info.
DeleteI love the little pumpkins on your window sill and the kitchen so cute. Your place is so comfy looking. Hand me a tea and throw.
ReplyDeleteWhere to start!!!! That first picture is glorious! Comfy, chic yet relaxed. Love the mirror grouping. And the bedroom looks like a very relaxing place away from the world. Does Buster cook also????
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you'll share a picture of the event from Saturday. That wig looks huge girl! Your place is like you.....tasteful....most of the time.
ReplyDeleteWood scent? Of course you love the wood scent! LOL.
ReplyDeleteHope the wig gig goes over the top with success! Hugs.
I love the darkness of the bedroom. I'm also thinking at least three or four could sleep in the bed.
ReplyDeleteYou act like your waiting for an invite?
DeleteI actually love that skeleton head, but I love succulents and Halloween, so it's fitting. Very chic apartment.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!!! You do know your place as given me many ideas over time. I never used to do little touches of holidays, except maybe Christmas. We always love seeing Buster.
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with the place. Have fun this weekend!
ReplyDeleteSo warm and inviting. I have always wanted to have a background in interior design. My favorite thing is that huge candelabra on the coffeetable. It's stunning.
ReplyDeleteI can see you!! (in that parlour picture)
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy these tours of your lovely home. The effort you go to with all the finishing touches is well worth it. Beautiful!
I hadn't noticed that. A good thing I probably on clothes on!!!
