It sure has been fun sharing the holiday windows with everybody! Since it's what I do for a living I can really appreciate the work that goes into them. Some people always ask if I ever get tired of doing visual display work and I always say HELL NO! It can be tiring at times, but it is so nice to have a creative outlet, and who thought I'd still be doing it after all this time after leaving interior design, which I still haven't gave up completely. Let us continue our tour of looking through the looking glass shall we?
Over at the Mistress's company we went with a shopping in Countries of the World theme. Each country was captured in a "snow globe". There were also several more countries in smaller windows. Our "Little Brown Bag and All Wrapped Up theme were highlighted.
Over at Louis Vuitton, who also always has creative windows, went with a fun and whimsical theme of Christmas geese and a polar bear for their gift giving statements......
The Urban Outfitters division, Anthropology did some wonderfully simple, but creative windows with wood and balsam with a old rustic poinsettia theme.....
After all this window shopping, is there anyone out there still yet to start shopping this season?
Snow globes! Snow globes! LOLOLOLOL! Is gorgeous but I'm still in Snow Globe Recovery.
ReplyDeleteLoves the geese - our geese aren't nearly so talented.
Stunning work as always!!!! The snow globe theme is cute. Have a started shopping? What do you think?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and fun! My shopping is all done but I still have to wrap the gifts.
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely fabulous. If they don't get you to start shopping, you might as well sleep in until New Year's Day.
ReplyDeleteI really miss seeing the windows this year. I almost always get there. Again, these are all beautiful!!!! I'm not terribly creative, but that job would surely be fun...your lucky!
ReplyDeleteI love the country in a snow globe idea, I LOVE snow globes, they are so magical.
ReplyDeleteLove those, as always, but I really love the simple Anthropology ones.
ReplyDeleteThis window shopping series has been just delightful Maddie... I love all the creativity that goes into the designs and understand the hours and hours hard work that goes on behind the scenes... Bravo!
ReplyDeleteLovely....all of them! I really love geese ao those Vuitton windows are quacking me up!!!! Sorry.
ReplyDeleteLove these! Department stores always so the best jobs with windows, but for a specialty store Vuitton always does a wonderful job. Windows that are interesting always suck me into the store. So many companies these days look so boring in their windows.
ReplyDeleteAll very nice! I was out and about yesterday and saw more clever windows. You have opened my eyes. You and your snowglobes must be tried?
ReplyDeleteAmazing job on your windows. I love reality shows and I definitely see potential here... WINDOW WARS anyone?
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely windows as always!!!!!!I swear next year I'm making a trip to New York next year. I have a drag number coming up where i'll be performing in a snow globe.
