Monday? We'll Need Some of This

Oh, it's Monday again???? It is cold out and I think staying in bed would be a better choice, no? I may need some of this to mayyyyyyybe pursway me out of the sack.....

Well, if I can drink all this chocolate, that will get me through at least the next two weeks, ya think? It was a relaxing weekend for the most part with a work related event and a trip to the Philly Chocolate Confectionery Lounge, which, with tears, used to be The Naked Chocolate Cafe, which you can see here, and here, a favorite haunt of mine. The new joint while not the same, was pretty nice with all the chocolate goodies and they also specialize in all the old favorite candies of yester year you just can't find anywhere. My purchase, one lowly piece of chocolate. And not bad. But I felt like I was cheating on my old flame of the Naked Chocolate Cafe!!!!

  1. Where did the weekend go?
It seems like I just walked in the door on Friday night, and now I'm getting ready to walk back out on Monday morning.
Please, have one of the Houseboys deliver me that chocolate-y goodness.
    I'm gonna need it!!

Oh chocolate, my lover and friend. I would not know what to do with life without this magical treat.

My personal preference is for darker chocolates, yet in any form chocolate is an acceptable gift.

I do hope the one single lonely piece you bought tasted divine.

    hugs darling!

  7. Ahhhhhhhh what a sweet post and agreed! Best hot chocolate I've ever had is from the Four Seasons in East Palo Alto. My old employer shared an office park with them, and they serve it at their annual holiday tree lighting. I don't know that I want to know what's in it. I do know that it cools to a solid.
