Holiday Window Spectale, Part 2

Well, as promised I now present you with the rest of New York's holidays windows that impressed me much and our own windows at the store. Every year, my team and I take a day out to venture to the city and take the scene in, and enjoy all the hard work everyone else did. And it's always interesting how different each store is.I can't remember two stores even doing anything remotely close to the same thing. Continuing on the tour from the other day is the men's store at Bergdorf Goodman, which as we all know, the holiday windows at the women's store get all the attention, but those at the men's store across the street are just as chic and stunning. How fun they use animal heads on the mannequins which is kind of funny in itself, since most men are wild beast, at least the ones the Mistress is used too. I kid of course, but some of the men I dated sure seem to be in these windows!!!

The French Louis Vuitton went with a harlequin and circus theme for their windows. I'm loving the elephant balancing on the ball.

Loving Cartier's boxwood treatment canopy's.....how sleek!

Next stop was to Ralph Lauren's Polo Mansion, who always has the spin on the well done traditional settings.

This year Barney's devoted all their windows to Lady Gaga, and many were designed by the artist herself. Just so you know, the first picture? It appeared everything was made out of hair!!!

Next stop....Tiffany & Co.

Tiffany &Co, the legendary joaillier, always has the most magnificent windows filled with exquisite jewels, this year’s stunning windows at their Fifth Avenue flagship store take their inspiration from the magical carousel that pops up every year in Central Park. I'm always enthralled by the detail in them. I don't know if you have a Tiffany's near you, but the windows are not big, quite small actually. So it takes much patience, skill and talent to create this in such a small space.

And finally the Mistress and teams windows. The location where I work only has four small windows so we are limited to real over the top theatrical. Our theme was Dream Dresses, or dresses that one would dream of. They are all real dresses, except the one we made of entirely recycled greeting cards, that was for pure fun! The first is a small vintgnette window of Kate Spade handbags.

And that Ladies and Gentleman concludes our window tour for this year, thanks and join us again next year! Tootles!

  18. Tiffany's is my favorite. Just keep it simple and "Christmasy". Not so bizarre! Window dressings should be a scene we can somehow relate to rather than a snapshot from a sci-fi movie.I just don't get Bergdorf's at all.

  19. Thanks for the tour! These are amazing except for Barney's! How can anyone look at the Barney's window and say that was a good idea for the holidays? It looks more like a nightmare window. But then I'm not a huge gaga fan.
