Kailyn HAD to Open the Worms!

The Mistress is just appalled!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wonderful blogosphere friend, Kailyn called tonight. We had a lovely conversation about anything and everything for a long time, and also were talking of our upcoming visit to San Francisco. Then she just HAD to mention the name MERLIN!Now -what an awful name. The Mistress can not stand that name. Or Cecil! Please forgive if your name is one of these, I understand it's not your fault. But MERLIN and CECIL!?! Who in the hell names a poor kid Merlin or Cecil! I can't figure it out. OMG! CECIL people! And MERLIN! Would you want these names? Kailyn then said she would name her twins in my honor with MERLIN and CECIL! Please Kailyn don't. It would be child abuse. CECIL! MERLIN! I just can't figure this out. Thanks Kailyn for opening the worms. Now tonight I'll probably dream of Cecil and Merlin! Meh! CECIL!

  5. Miss Ginger, I am afraid to say that what started Maddie down this path right before DDBW was indeed Merlin on "The Fashion No." I got to hear about Merlin and Cecil while we strolled through Little Italy and In'Ja snapped photos of fire escapes.

And Frogponder, I used to teach elementary and middle school. I was waiting for a child named "Escalade" to walk into the classroom eventually.

And it wasn't twins. Because when one has had to deal with other people's children, one does not necessarily want any knee biters in one's home. (Something about a fear of neighbors calling CPS or something.) No, I said I would get two more cats and name them Merlin and Cecil.

Your STILL going on about the name Cecil? I remember that time at work when you first heard the name. I think you went on for like 45 minutes why it was a awful name. And it is.

  15. This is funny as hell! I worked with a hot guy once that was named Cecil, and he was sexy as hell! I over looked the name for a few things! When a moved out here and away from his family, he changed his name legally! Can't blame him.

Cecil is a terrible name! I agree with you Mistress. Why do parents name their childern such nerdy names? Merlin isn't much better!

As someone with the frist name Cecil, I have to say it is as bad a name as you would expect. I have been just to lazy to change it, so I mostly use my middle name. First time here. What a wonderful site, so many intresting things to see and read.
