STOP THE CAR.....

I got infuriated again! As I was reading Six's blog the other day he expressed concern about the democrats in a comment back to another reader. I agreed with him and this is yet another reason why...

Just the other day Democrats in the House stopped an Israel funding bill. Well, around 1/2 of them did. The other half are just as happy to go on record that they're as corrupt as Republicans. Only one of the GOP reps voted no: Thomas Massie. Speaker Hakeem Jefferies, whom I'm no fan of, voted to continue funding Israel and the war criminal Netanyahu, as Israel continues to fund him. What you're seeing is a party in shambles presenting a completely divided front on a major issue before midterms. 77% of Dem voters are tired of wars, and voters support stopping to funding Israel, yet only half of the Dem representatives support what their voters want.  And leading "progressives" like AOC say they'll support Jeffries as Speaker if Dems regain then House. That means that regardless how AOC gripes about Jeffries, they're willing to have him block any Anti-Israel legislation from coming to vote in the House. Half of the party is voting with republicans. Have the party not noticed who is winning the latest election primaries? True Progressives... and the party of voters is telling the party what they want in representatives...and they won loudly opposing Irsael and Netanyahu, like Zohan Mamdni did. Yet the party ignores these candidates. And I still say that is one aspect that cost Harris the presidential seat. She refused to break with Biden and refused to take a stand. You can't vote for funding the war and yet oppose it.

Mistress, I agree that my Democratic Party is in total shambles. There is no strong leadership stepping up to the Plate. Now, on the other side of the fence, you have a Man, Bronze Man-White Teeth, who controls the Republican Party to the Max.

I am not sure at this stage of the matter who has a better chance in the midterm elections; what I intend to do is sit here in the Swamp of Louisiana, rock in the rocking chair on the front porch, and watch the show going on in DC for the Moment.

  3. I think we have strong leaders but many are not in office right now, which makes me wish those IN office would listen to those politicians and listen to WE THE PEOPLE!!!!

  4. If ever the Democratic Party needed to demonstrate a united front, this would be that time. Many people in the party need to get their collective shit together and wise up, We don't need platitudes and empty promises, we need power and results. Just dropped off my ballot for the primary, I've done my part. Do NOT skip even the primaries and do everything you can to make sure your vote is counted, at the polls or with mail in ballots like I have. In case the Maga(te)s somehow made vote by mail illegal or impossible, I am in the process to correct a misspelling of my last name on my birth certificate with the state, in case I had to show up physically to a polling place, my name on record would be the same as my birth certificate. Like the Boy Scouts...BE PREPARED!
