This is Susie Wiles. She reminds me of the British actress Stepanie Cole, and I am assuming is a battle ax just the same. From what I gather from seeing her, she doesn't put up with much shit and drama. Susie is the Dump's new chief of staff and is being hailed from both sides as a historic choice- because a woman has never held that position. The decision actually shocked me. That "that" party actually picked a woman for the slot. While I admit, I have not done my research intelligence of Mrs. Wiles and know very little about her, other than being republican and having a very stern and strict work ethic in past and present endeavors, she caught my attention in an interview as saying "I don't welcome people who want to work solo or be a star, and my team and I will not tolerate antics, backbiting, second guessing and inappropriate actions or drama in the oval office in this administration." I thought, good grief, this woman has balls, and her work cut out, and I wish her luck on accomplishing that if she can. And being a woman as another first. But is this exactly where empty representation and diversity fall apart? Is Susie female? Yes. Is that historic if there's never been a female chief of staff before? Sure. So a woman is now represented in a top government position. But like other first women in positions will the views represent most women? Is she pro-choice? Does she seek to raise the min wage, which largely affects female workers? To cancel student debt? I don't know all her stances, but I'm guessing no. So, this is an empty representation, like we've seen before, and it means little.
Gop 2024 presidential candidate Nikki Haley's stump speech included her origin tale, which was similar to Obama's. Both of her parents settled here as immigrants. They bought a shop, and despite hard times initially, they were able to send Nikki to university. Yet Nikki's campaign sought to cut social safety nets which her own family relied on when she was growing up. So while she WAS the first female of color running on the GOP ticket, she represents business interests and war... over women like herself.
Another way the right uses PC vs the left is calling drag "woman face" as if drag is as offensive as blackface. Thier logic is that if dressing up as something you aren't born as is wrong, then dressing in drag is wrong. And weaponizing sex or race isn't confined to just the right. One thing that Obama did, who was our first president of color, that bothered me, was he didn't always help voters of color. If you think he did all the time, look up the IBD articles about how Obama destroyed black wealth when he kicked out many black homeowners during the mortgage crisis. Obama sided with the mortgage companies instead of the people he physically resembles.
While I wish Susie Wiles success and luck in keeping this shitshow of a circus in line, and is already nicknamed the "Ice Maiden" by many, she will have my respect, but I don't have much hope for her with this crowd... and being a "first" is great and will leave a mark and place in history if one actually does something for the people they are like, whether it be the LGBTQ, women's rights, civil rights, and good for all of us. But if it's a first for in name only? Don't fall for this trick.
Brillant post. I agree too. If it's a "first" of in name only? It means squat. And your senses guide you well. Susie Wiles is one woman who is a battle ax.... Ice Maiden fits here to a to T.If she can't keep this white house in order, no one can. She won't even take shit from trump! Susie Wiles isn’t just any strategist—she’s someone who knows how to play on people's fears and emotions, borrowing tactics straight out of the authoritarian handbook. She’s studied how to use mass psychology to manipulate public opinion, not to inspire but to control, divide, and undermine any opposition.
ReplyDeleteWiles doesn't bother with ethical concerns; she’s a tactician who knows that getting results sometimes means playing dirty. Her approach isn’t about honesty or transparency; it’s about bending minds and controlling narratives, making her the ideal choice for someone who wants to shape opinion ruthlessly. She may be the smartest and most intelligent in this white house. If you were looking to incite, control, or keep people loyal through fear, Wiles would be the one to call. She's someone who gets results and doesn't mind if it means leaving truth or integrity behind. In other words...another empty in 'FIRST" in name only.
A friend of Williams knew her. He also told us she is one woman not to be trifled with. I suspect the buffoon will get fed up with her if he doesn't get his way...and she'll see a tweet firing her in 6 weeks. But your right, if people in these first of's don't at least represent the people they are like, then the "first" of has no point and helps no one. Make a difference I say.
ReplyDeleteThat would be great if she can pull that off...but like you said with this crowd? And that says a lot. This woman I hear is like Betsy DeVos 3.0! I think she will be too strong for this administration.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about her and I am somewhat impressed ... though how she decided to work for The Felon is beyond me. And if, as you say, she doesn't put up with crap, I wonder how long she'll last?
ReplyDeleteAs for Nikki Haley she is a lowlife pandering lying two-faced f*ck and you cannot trust a single word she says; ever!
