Well, here we are...the last day of summer, and I'm, already waiting for next summer to start!!!! Here are some parting shots from a lovely summer, stating with our Cassia that did well this year.
Coneflower in the garden
Lillith before her passing
Blue Heron along the Susquehanna River
A Bee doing it's thing in the saliva garden.
My lost shoe was found.
Blue jay taking a splish splash
Marco and TJ at Camp with a big cock.
A red Cardinal flower close up with a backshot of the Lad
A lake shot
The wolf pack
Preston's new man, Brandon! Tight little pocket gay!!!!
Getting eyed at breakfast at camp.
Buster in the early spring
Asters and hydrangea
My square cut clad butt
Umbrella fun at the pool
Usual suspects at the feeder
Love this, a vintage VW Bus camper.
The owners were kind of enough to let me see the inside. And that's where the story will be left. I'm sure it looks like a Woodstock scene for sure.
And now as is tradition here at the Casa, I present Lana Del Rey with our summer ending classic....
You certainly had a fabulous Summer . . . now on to the Fall!
ReplyDeleteI will admit I like the Fall colors but what does it for me is it means Halloween's coming my favorite holiday.
DeleteThere's nothing square about that butt. Someone please throw me to the wolf! What a great summer. I always love your photos.
ReplyDeleteYes, I've just been reminded that my butt is definitely not Square.
DeleteGreat pictures as always though it does make one wonder: How the hell did your shoe end up there?
ReplyDeleteAnd who doesn't love a tight little Pocket Gay?
Lillith was a regal looking dog. RIP
She had to be one of the best dogs ever!!!! Loving, calm, quite, and genteel. She only wanted to please and love.
DeleteHaaaaaa!
ReplyDeleteLana! Buster! That WV! That BADONKADONK!
Now that that's out, babes, love the pics. Also, I have that Dump Him t-shirt. Yep.
XOXO
Those two boys are so crazy and hyper!
DeleteHaving met Mads once in person on a visit to New Haven, I was very tempted not to grab that very fine posterior!
DeleteLike Hickory Farms, I get at least one free sample.
DeleteLovely! Lovely! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures, but I must have missed Lillith's passing. RIP, girl.
ReplyDeleteBack in June. She is in the garden now...her ashes spread.
DeleteSeason of mists and mellow fruitfulness
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots as always! First flower shot, VW camper are favorites!
ReplyDeleteLots of birds, bees, and other essentials.
ReplyDeleteGolly. I have never heard Ligularia called "Cassia" before - I thought that was a tree? Anyhow, they're lovely blooms. With those, the salvia and the red lobelia - and The Lad's arse - that's a fine display! Jx
ReplyDeletePS Love the boys frolicking with a big cock. Who wouldn't?!
Yes John it is Ligularia....but we also have Cassia which is a tree. We just planted a few this summer.I always get them mixed up. Cassie is the one that smells of buttered popcorn.
DeleteI struggle to remember Ligularia, although I have a L. ciliata Firecracker in the garden. Doesn't L. Rocket need damp soil?
DeleteYou had me with the first picture, and with each next picture you suck me in even further. What excellent fun pictures. The florals are always amazing, and boy, I can't lie you got some seriously nice ass! Yep I think that song's perfect for the day.
ReplyDeleteI agree Asriel... the Mistresses assets sure fill out that square cut. Yes, the dirty old lady that I am took a gander.
DeleteI always love your end of summer post, and this didn't disappoint. The flowers are lovely and I've always enjoyed The Usual Suspects, whether they be the boys or the Birds. And like Bob, I'm wondering how your shoe ended up there? Too much gin?
ReplyDeleteNo I always love your summer time pictures. Those two boys look like a riot! And of Preston ever runs out of time with his hands full of his man....I have no problem taking Brandon off his hands for a few days! And like wise for you very fine backside Mads!!!! A little bit of the best of all the worlds this summer in your domain. And what's not to love about Buster being near the art museum? Was he taking in a exhibit?
ReplyDeleteThose Cassias! I wonder if I can grow that here. I love the big leaves. Sorry to hear of the passing of a furry friend. Rest in peace, Lilith! Looks like it was a fine summer of woody and non-woody stock!
ReplyDeleteWhat was actually pictured above was Ligularia , which I confused with our cassia. They both look similar but the leaves are very much different. Cassia does really well and hot humid climates so it did really well hear this summer it was a getting cooler now I understand I either have to pull it out or transplant to a pot and bring it in doors for winter. And when you rub its leaves it smells just like buttered popcorn.. beautiful long stem flowers they get
DeleteLilith was lovely. It's too bad the lost shoe wasn't a glass slipper. Some of my flowers are still doing well, but everything in my window boxes has died.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Oh my window box by the front door looks like s***. I just gotten some fall colored pansies to plant in it. Pansies do excellent in the early spring and fall as they like cold temperatures.
DeleteIts Nice to see Summer in the Upper Climates.. .. Hope Fall Arrives Quickly, Thompson
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping in Thompson where is it that you're visiting from? Yes I can't complain it's been a glorious summer here.
DeleteITs me Tom Thompson .. From Louisiana. my settings are messed up
DeleteOH MY!!! You have to love technology and all these settings!!!
DeleteThis is the first I've heard of Lillith's passing. If there was a post about it, sorry I missed it.
ReplyDeleteI envy Preston.
Yes we lost poor Lilith back in I thought was made I think might have been March. And yes about Preston's boyfriend. We're either going to have a fight over him or share him!
DeleteOnward to autumn leafs and pumpkins
ReplyDeleteYou enjoy Summer like I enjoy Autumn. You do have the best Glutes around my Friend. Great Photography and a trip down Memory Lane. What happened in the Hippie Bus stays in the Hippie Bus... *winks*
ReplyDeleteOh my God that's the perfect name for that too hippie bus! I don't know why I can see you driving one of those.
DeleteAh, you had a lovely summer! Loving those Wolves!
ReplyDeleteSx
And I'm so bad I didn't even notice the dogs at the first time.
DeleteTundra Bunny here...
ReplyDeleteYour photographic summer serenade is lovely, as always! Lilith always looked so regal, while Buster always looks primed for his next adventure! And I'm glad you found your silver stiletto, Maddie, but methinks you got caught in your own man-trap again...
I'm glad to see you were able to shackle your lost show to keep it from wandering away again. Very sensible.
ReplyDeleteAnd I do love a pocket gay.
That camper is very cute
ReplyDeleteFarewell summer and all your lovely summer photos. Until next time.
ReplyDeletewhat nice places
