SEEN AROUND TOWN

Well after a one day work week....yes dear ones.....looks like my work life is back to normal again, the Mistress is grossly behind in blog reading. But today I'm relaxing after a nice long snooze and a breakfast with homemade Stollen and coffee. Here are a few snaps taken during the holiday this week seen around . Its been a more relaxing week than a normal season for me....and I am not complaining.

City Hall Philadelphia

Buster and Lilith. "We didn't do it we swear"

Farms Market. Picked up my pork roast and sauerkraut for New Years Day.

For a Christmas gift, the Mother got a me a gift....a day at the Spa at Hotel Hershey. The day was spent on the 23rd being pampered... getting a facial, massage, deep body exfoliate and cocoa wrap and a mani/pedi! I didn't know whether to relax or lick myself. The place is so relaxing and elegant.

In between treatments they serve you hot drinking chocolate....Hershey style!

Followed by martinis at the end of the day. Mine was a expresso chocolate martini.
One night while coming home from New Hope, I saw a dog wondering all over the back roads. I pulled over in fear someone may hit him. He ran right to me and he jump in the car. Once I got to a location to pull into, I saw his name was Boone on his collar, so I called his very happy owners. They came to pick him up. A happy ending.

Independence Hall on a cold day.

Beautiful snap of City Hall through the lit trees.

Philadelphia Art Museum rotunda.

Meanwhile at work Friday.....no pictures...PLEASE!

One of the stores better clients.

Dinner a few weeks ago in beautiful Lahaska

It was a good season. To me it's not what's under the tree for Christmas, but who's around the tree.

  1. I've never had a facial or a chocolate martini...but, gawd knows, I need both! And I'd like some pork roast with sauerkraut.
Luv the doggies and the barnyard critters!

  2. After those pictures, I'm certainly glad you didn't say you were having lamb!
From the looks on Buster's and Lilith's faces, they did something and you just don't know what it is yet!
As for the relaxing or licking, I'd go with the licking if I was flexible enough. Relax after :)

  15. Judging from the shot at Independence Hall a hot drinking chocolate would probably have been nice. And a cocoa covered body wrap could be lots of fun. Did they even cover the Mr. Goodbar???

    1. No that was covered slightly...but Colin, my spa technician did bump the jumblies....multiple times. We should have married.

  16. Thank you, Maddie, for sharing these fantastic fotos. The architecture is stunning! So regal and exquisite. I hope Nicholas Cage and company returned Ben Franklin's spectacles they borrowed from Independence Hall to find that National Treasure. I luv that festive, decked out mill!

I love art and appreciate these amazing captures. But I worry about that nude archer. I appreciate beautiful nekkid ladies, but I worry that she's underdressed, and all that exposure could lead to frostbite on the jewels. The Xmas tree is fabulous and glamorous. Your last line about how it's the people around the Xmas tree that matter has me picturing you Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree.

Congratulations on a well deserved and amazing spa/chocolate day. The place and the drinks look spectacular! I hope you've got some hot chocolate to go with your tasty stollen and coffee.

The fotos of the dogs are fun, hilarious, and charming. And that little lamb looks so delicious! And cute and fuzzy. Hello, Lamb Chop! Do you like yogurt and mint sauce? How about chimichurri?

The most heartwarming vignette was you rescuing that poor lost dog, and it was wonderful that you made sure Boone got to go home safely with his loves ones. You are a Saint! And you've made it on to Santa's Nice List. However, I fear the Infomaniac NYE party may knock you back over to the Naughty List...

    Happy New Year!!! Cheers!!!

  19. Oh, we know Buster didn't do anything. He's a little angel. Right? :-)

Nice pictures. I'm glad the dog was reunited with his owners, and I could go for a chocolatini right about now.

  21. Stunning post Mistress! A day at a spa is a great way to end the year to me. Who doesn't want to drink chocolate, eat chocolate and be covered in chocolate??? And yes....I have no problem licking myself.
