Here it is Monday again!!!
What a great weekend it was, but yours truly is probably still in bed as I'm off work today, and much needed since having a slew of guest in town over the weekend with some art, nightspots, and a drag brunch. It was nice to get outside and the weather has finally, I believe, broke into spring....after all I saw my first Robin in Rittenhouse Square. That has just got to be a sign right? The ground hog might not be a reliable source, but the Robins only arrive when they know spring is right around the corner.....hence our feathery post today. Of course the warmer weather also reminds me of Easter Parade. "Nadine, get out the hounds, we're going for a walk."
Ugh! My upstairs neighbors woke me up three times during the night. I really want to call in sick, but it's pointless if I won't be able to get a nap during the daytime hours.
ReplyDeleteI too, for you, am counting the day those asses move!!!! Maybe go see a witch about getting a haunting going on in there!!!
DeleteOh, I really could live without Ann Miller (sorry), but love the images of Easter Parade.
ReplyDeleteIt's the eye shadow wasn't it?
DeleteEnjoyed your robin pics! Interestingly they start coming back in during the Christmas holidays.
ReplyDeleteYour right. Some years I have seen them in January right after a snow storm. This year, they were right on time, interestingly since it was a very mild winter for us.
DeleteA Robin is my favorite bird. I miss seeing them as we don't have them here. But your right, when they show up, spring has sprung.
ReplyDeleteWell that certainly cheered up the morning! I magazine you walk Buster much the same way?
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday Mistress! Lovely picture and a welcome cheer of the beginning of the week. I adored Ann miller also, but I've been told I resemble her a bit.
ReplyDeleteAlso.... you called the returning queen on Drag Race pretty good. When I saw one of your two guesses emerge I thought of you.
Monday...aughhhhhhhhhhhh! (runs screaming from the room)
ReplyDeleteWait till tomorrows post dear.........
DeleteSpring always reminds me of Robins...and Ann Miller's performance in Easter Parade....that glorious dance number.
ReplyDeleteI know it well. I just did it today in the bedroom.
Deletemistress, you love your birds...in any form.
ReplyDeleteRobins and Eastern Bluebirds are our signs in the South. Love watching the Bluebirds checking out there nesting sights. I think we seen our last frost even though the weather was nasty today. Storms traveling through thru the area. Luckily the worst is over.
ReplyDeleteIf you like birds, you will enjoy some of my bird post. Real birds, not my bird, lol!!! I have some Blue Jays that come right to the window sill and feed. Their bigger up close than they look.
