Right before I left to help the Lad adjust his, huh, house with the move and such, I had captured these snaps of the birds out the kitchen window. I had just laid the new seed on the sill and already it was like The Birds within seconds.......
One of my favorite to watch is the Tufted Titmouse.....
Titmouse with a Bluejay behind him
I thought these next two shots were sweet of these two separate dove couples.....
Beautiful pics. If I made a post of birds on my blog, it would probably be me flipping the double angry birds at my upstairs neighbors. Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll have a nice tree outside of my next residence and see some birds of my own.
ReplyDeleteI should send the big red bellied woodpecker out there to peck at their ass's to get them out. If he pecks at there window every morning , they will be gone soon enough!!!!
DeleteWhat type of tree is it with all those red knobs? I understand why they are called bluejays...such vibrant colour to brighten up the gloomiest of days.
ReplyDelete"The birds are gathering "!...
The tree in question is a maple, and with the very mild temps we have had, the knobs are getting bugger already. Do you get Blue jays down under Prinny?
DeleteSadly no...but we do have blue "Fairy Wrens" that frequent the garden at the palais on a regular basis
Delete:-) The Engineer bought a new bird feeder. When I fill it - it is too heavy for me to put on the hook1 I can put it on a shelf so they can still get to the food.
ReplyDeleteThey will eat you out of house and home, where ever the seed is.
DeleteI swear, your like a bird magnet. So many birds!
ReplyDelete.....so little time.
DeleteYou are the finest of bird-watchers, Mistress! Do you have a bird box in your garden?
ReplyDeleteNo Gorilla I don't, but I do have one in the bedroom.
Deleteda boids is here! no cardinals in these pix though.
ReplyDeleteI only saw a few cardinals this year. I don't think it was cold enough this year. But how's bout that swallow?
Deletenow THERE'S a subject on which you could expound at length, mistress!
DeleteEach time you share photos of your birds, I like you more. You are a sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteawwwwwww shucks! ****blushes*****
DeleteI hope you don't wear your Tippi wig when you leave the Casa?
ReplyDeleteNow you tell me. Of course I do!
DeleteAnd if you get a chance tootes look at Monday's post. Are they your brooms dear?
DeleteWonderful photos and I especially like the doves.
ReplyDeleteI laughed at "Inexplicable's" Tippi wig comment.
I love the doves too, especially in the morning...with there cooing. Just relaxes me and I want to stay in bed.
DeleteThe most doves I have seen is maybe three. So many doves you get!!! I too love watching the titmice. They are adorable.
