This Queen Loves some Shopping!

Greetings all and hope everyone had a nice, relaxing weekend? This weekend I took it easy for the most past, but did have a wonderful day of shopping in Lambertville with the boys. There was no real plan except to window shop. Although I did want to change up my apothecary jars for spring and did, with some items I found. Lambertville is arguably the antiques capital of the Garden State, and one of the liveliest home goods spots on the East coast. So we visited the hamlet this pass spring Saturday, and the town was jumping. We were going to go last week, but I remembered it was the annual Shad Festival (shad roe is quite the treat in these parts, but never had it, as I don't like fish) and it would just be too nuts to go. Close to the Casa we headed out and what a beautiful day. If you're in this lovely town on the Delaware River, a convenient half-way stop between Philadelphia and New York City, be sure to visit this unique store, zinc home + garden. The couple are veterans of home design - styling for Anthropology and Restoration Hardware. They opened zinc in December 2009 and haven't looked back since. I just love old things used for new purposes again and given a new life.

All of a sudden, I could use a cock-a-tail!

I love a good hard set of balls!

How great is this sign? One of the guys suggested I get this and attach it to my headboard!!!!! If I had a place for it, it sooooo would have come home with me.

Wish I had a study to hang this light in!

This would make a awesome kitchen table wouldn't it?

How cool are these decorative trim pieces hung in a row? They would make great hooks!

I'm a HUGE SUCKER for a good flower shop, as I love fresh flowers, and this fairly new floral shop Boxwoods is very unique with creative gifts and your not run of the mill stems to chose from. It takes more then roses and carnations to impress me.

After shopping it was off to the Boat House for some happy hour cock-a-tails, and then a long enjoyable dinner over the bridge in New Hope at my favorite spot, Marsha Browns. I didn't get back to the Casa till 9:30. Isn't it fun when you just let go and see where you end up? The day just flew by. Now, it is Monday, so it's off to work I suppose. Tootles!

I love places that have all sorts of eclectic things for the Casa.
Plus, I saw a couple of punch bowls which would be purrrrfect for my Saturday Night Margarita!
