WE MEET AGAIN

It’s the first day of the week, and you do not want to go to work. No one welcomes Mondays with a smile. But we all can survive the long week with some great coffee and hopefully these inspiring autumnal shots.
This final shot is by a talented blogger friend, Tomass Hawkke.  Tomass is one artist who can move me by not only his stunning and often stirring of feeling of beautiful nature shots, beautifully shot, and much thought put into the play of light and shadows set against nature, but also often can stir other things as he sets himself against the elements... partially nude and in some cases, nude. His works often blows me away with his incredible self portraiture, and it's all done by himself completely, in Saskatchewan , Canada. I also highly recommend his coffee table books. One of these years I need to take his Wildbush Trail Tour, sure to be a fun time, wink! You can check him out on my sidebar.

Happy Monday and Happy Viewing!

AROUND THE CASA

It has been awhile since we have seen around my little pied de terre. Summer is one of my favorite times of year. Call me weird, but I absolutely love the hot humid weather. I think I have had my air on once so far, but my flat is completely surrounded by trees, which helps to keep it cool. Yesterday I captured these pictures of the hostas blooming, complete with bee, searching for nectar.

Inside, since I am a major beach baby, seashells abound. And yes, I do listen to the ocean in them!!! Who says birdcages are just for birds?
This new glass and iron compote was a steal on my last antiquing trip with the Dame Courtney. I thought it would be perfect to hold seashells, since there are two mermen on either side.....
My newest acquisition to my coffee table, Tomass Hawkke's Wildbush Trail. Tomass is a very good blogger pal and a incredible photographer and artist, and while I haven't met him, I just know he is a real sweetheart, sexy and very, very, talented. His work is just so fun, fresh, erotic, and breathtaking. You can find out and see more in the book and check out his talented works on his blog, Tomass Hawkke's Naked Nature. And he always answers back, which I love.

My apothecary jars I have, holding my immense collection of seashells... found ones, bought ones, and ones I have received....throw in some netting and your ready for the catch.......

In the bar in the kitchen, are two big shells under a bell jar....
Some of my gin collection.....
Another new piece to the eclectic stuff around here, this lit arrow marquee which I got at my friend Punk Rock's shop, God Save The Qweens.....

It points to the bar, although, the Lad thought it should point to my ass!!! He is so mature. Speaking of the Lad, he was taking a picture of my Pimms, when he noticed my gratuitous Calvin clad backside, working at the island, in the glass!!!!!!!!!

Behave!!!!! You know who you are!!!!! Carrying on, in the boudoir we find yet more shells, along with my chrome fan, WHICH I LOVE and use most nights with the windows open..... Not to be too tmi, but there is nothing like a good nude sleep, with the windows open wide and feeling that fan.
Two of my favorite clocks. The one I just had to have because of the little elephant on top of it.
Mirror, mirror one the wall, who is the biggest slut of all!!!! Magic has been known to happen right there on that sofa!!!!!!

And finally, probably my favorite print in the house...this Serengeti Print.....

I just love big huge elephants!!!! Ever since I rode once, I have been in love with them....so majestic. I also hope to go to the Serengeti one day. Well, I don't know about you, but I'm ready for a nice weekend....and a vacation. WHAT! Yes, I'm getting ready for trip two this week, in a couple days. What can I say....it's hell working almost three full weeks, I'm bushed. Now where is my cock-a-tail?

GUILTY PLEASURE

You know we all have them. I have posted several of mine from time to time. It's those little pleasures we enjoy and can't seem to get away from, but bring such fun and pleasure to our lives. Well my newest one just happens to be a blog. About a week and a half ago when the huge ice storm hit and took out my power, from time to time I was reading blogs from my phone. I happened to check mine and saw a new commenter, so I had to check this out. And I have been left breathless since!

Tomass Hawkke is his name and his beautiful blog is Tomass Hawkke's Naked Nature for reasons seen above!  Tomass lives in the deepest wilderness of the cold Canada. He wonders the woods and beautiful locales there taking some of the most stunning photography I have seen. This hot Canadian, who makes a trapper hat look damn sexy, just also happens to take these pictures as self portraits, many times in fun poses!!!! With parts exposed! The photos are not only stunning and picturesque, but at the same time you can tell he is having a great time doing this as his playful side comes out, no pun intended!!! I  was immediately hooked that afternoon just looking at the talent and beauty of these photos, it is just amazing, but I don't know how he stands to bare all in those temps. Tomass has a hard bound photography book called " A Crack Without Glass" which is a collection of unabashed self-portraits taken in seasoned rural buildings. The photographs illustrate the rustic character of the tumble downs and the lusty thoughts fired by their rich history. I may have to look into that for my collection. If you know me I am drawn to blogs first for visuals, as I am very visual person, for funny or snark writings, for camp or just plain old fun, and also to see what others do and share about their lives, and this blog seems to have a lot of these in one place, and his boy bits aren't bad either!!!!! Check him out sometime, it really is quite stunning. And Tomass, thank you for sharing these photographs with us, you warmed my otherwise cold day during that storm.
