Since Pride makes most of us happy, I thought I would sprinkle the month-long celebration with LGBTQ singers for a light touch. After all who doesn't love music? And heaven knows, our ally Anne Marie loved herself some music. First up is the incredible Priyanka! Priyanka has always believed in fighting for her place in a predominantly white world, even in the drag world, which can be a lot of cis men doing drag. She was the first winner in Canada to take the crown on the Canada's Drag Race. And the way I see it, according to the GOP, Priyanka has strikes against her, not white, gay, is Indonesian and Carribean, and embraces pass Hindu and Buddhist roots and is a drag queen! I'm here for that!!! Check yourself Ms. Priyanka, but don't wreak it.
