DILETTANTE

 After two weeks...IM BACK!!!
And had one of the best vacations yet!!!! Simply no words. They had to literally  throw me off the train gurls. It will still be a couple days till Im back to to blogging and visiting y'all...unpacking, mail, pictures galore to go through, the houseboys are no help.... and back to work on Thursday for a two day work week, before I go glamping again for three days this weekend.

While away I had heard Lee Iacocca had died at the age of 94.
When asked for comment, Patti Labelle said "Iacocca choca ya ya".

Meanwhile before heading back to work I'm spending time at my home away from home The Raven. Can you think of a better way to recover from jetlag? After all, there's always time for a cock-a-tail.

And has anyone fed the fish?

Good luck with the unpacking, it's the worst bit of a holiday. Get the staff to do it. Xx

  10. Leave it to you to globe trot and come back to sit poolside. Another reason I adore you. The fish? We thought Anne Marie had that?

  12. Oh so this is why Blogland seems a lot more fabulous today! Welcome back and just remember, all the naughty, filthy, drunken, sex filled stories are the type of thing you must keep between yourself and your traveling companion... and your blog readers.

  17. Welcome home. The perfect cure for jet lag - sun, naked men, and a cock-a-tail. After all, when you arrive home and find the houseboys passed out on the divan, what else is one to do but kick off the heels, have the chaufer drop the luggage, don the sunglasses and head out. Hugs!

  22. Welcome back, maddie, you've been missed.

I'm curious about that top picture. The car says 1965, but the way they're dressed, it's clearly the 1970s or later.
