HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!

Here we go again!!! Technical difficulties. My laptop seems to turn on, but won't go to my log in screen....it just goes to my screen with the sky like streaks and stops. Were also having another snowstorm, so I'm home today, and tinkered a bit to no avail, and the houseboys are as computer literate as I. They are only versed in certain things you see. And with a impending trip at another store for renovations I have no time, temporarily, to get to a repair men, or just get a new one.  I swear, this time my gin and tonic or a cute boy was not involved. In the meantime the lights are off at the Casa, but I will be reading your blogs. Hopefully this too shall pass. I just don't know about this technology thing.
XOXO

  1. Unfortunately I'm no help, I can read blogs, news and email and that's all I know how to do. I'm lucky I know how to turn the thing on. I hope you won't be gone to long and enjoy the snow....again. *ducks flying object*

I have a tendency to think hurling it against a wall works ... it never does!

  9. "My laptop seems to turn on" - cause you talk dirty to it all the time!

"They are only versed in certain things you see." - yes, I have seen some of their "tricks".

wine and margaritas are the order of the day here; spouse and I have a snow day too! and I have no idea what's wrong with your computer.

  16. Darling Maddie,

Our computer has been overheating lately, so perhaps it is having a mini breakdown in sympathy with yours.

Although we have a housekeeper, we have no houseboys. However, if we did, computer servicing would definitely be a part of their job descriptions. After all, life cannot function without the technology these days so being mere decoration is just not good enough, however amusing, charming and good looking they may be. Yes, if your houseboys do not know their bytes from their bites they will simply have to go!

    1. Really some sage advice. But they do bite so good. All of them have to go?

  17. Computer problem are way more stressful than anything else. Especially when you not familiar with any education of them. I'd say screw it and get a new one.

    1. Yes, I can't be bothered. Took another look and not sure what the issue is. But your screw it and get a new one has been my advice for years when it comes to the houseboys!
