As you can see, the Mistress is already busy looking over the trees! Today is the day of the Christmas Tree Spectacular at the Casa du Borghese. Thanks to all who sent some pictures, and the naughty ones some felt the need to send, which found their way into the storage vault. So grab your shiny orbs, sprig of holly, and my spiked egg nog and take a gander at these beautiful and talented skills............
Samantha sent in this stunning and quite HUGE tree! Love the fortune cookie on the branch. She must be a size queen too.
Ursula of Opera, who I believe resides in New Zealand has this fine tree in her study. She also made the flowers and bows from balsam wood finely shaved. How beautiful.
This was Mistress Mj's submission. Apparently she loves watching every Christmas, Peewee Herman's Christmas Special, loaded with lots of talents. I assume this is her doll decked out for the holidays. I wonder what happens when the string is pulled?
Sunshine sent in this submission, after running out to get a little tree for this post. Isn't that sweet? He says also in the picture is a of trophy, which he earned by completing four years in the United States Air Force. That is one well deserved hunk of metal and wood! You wouldn't believe his first submission of wood he sent in!
Are these not worthy of a New York City window? This is the elegant townhome of Master Russ and the Dame Courtney, who you will recall are the Capital Street Duo. Every year, the Dame goes all out, as she is a avid collector of anything Christmas. It truly is stunning to see. I'll see them shortly as I'll be dinning with them Sunday night for Christmas
This is John's stunning balls on display! I and John have been friends for years, but lost contact till he found my blog about a year ago. Always a talented decorator and always had a way of handling the balls.
When Cali-Boi visited, I had told him of my idea for a different type of tree, so he too tried one. How cute is this? He said it wasn't as big as mine though. Size queen!
Jack from Jack and Suzi sent this in. How calming and beautiful. If Jack has done this display, there is no question what team he is playing for!
Miss Lady Finger doesn't do a tree anymore, but says she loves her snowmen which she lines the staircase with. That makes two of us who love snow men.
The Midnight Magpie, has quite a huge tree. I wonder if any of those gifts are heading to the Casa?
Agnes Goldberg De Woofs sent in a stunning vase of silver and blue dreidels for her Hanuka celebration. I wonder if one can play spin the dreidel game with these like spin the bottle?
Who think a drag queen did this this? You'd be right! Pearl Gates of P-Town sent in this festive looking May Pole type tree. She must be getting ready for spring already. But you know it just takes a queen. And she says she also has her pets names spelled out all over the tree. I must be drunk.
So there you have it! What a bevy of beautiful trees and decor! Thank you all for your submissions. Now how about some egg nog all around!!! There now....are we all lit?

ReplyDeleteLet me be the first to complement your lovely ensemble! What talents lay here. Ursula's is just adorable...all handmade!?! And did I have too much egg nog or is there a sleigh in the Dame's livingroom? Quiet stunning Dame!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see everybody and what they did. I must admit that the Peewee Herman doll scares the crap out of me though, but the tinsel helps!
ReplyDeleteJack and Suzi's feel like me, great shot! There all so nice though. With the Dame's we could play a good game of I spy. I see a collection of globes I think.
ReplyDeleteOh what fun was this? Now where are your houseboys. I'm not cleaning up all the spilled egg nog.
ReplyDeleteI was embrassed to sned in my simple Charlie Brown tree but now I wish I had. These are so nice and some great ideas here. Thanks for the egg nog and the free grope of the boys.

DeleteMine would be a laughing stock if I had sent one in. I need help with my balls for next year.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why, but jars of balls make me happy, this goes with out saying.
ReplyDeleteNow this was a fun wing ding Mistress! Now it's Christmas! But I'm shocked to not see any tinsel. I guess people don't use it anymore, choking hazard? And my pet names are in the squares honey, get your specs.
ReplyDeleteBetween this Tree Spectacular and the apocalypse parties, this is too much excitment.
