MIDSOMMARING

Well my dears, I'm back and I say with honesty I could have stayed longer. I was to come home on Monday, and did indeed stay longer. But Ms Moorecock called yesterday, and told me since Barrack Obama was in Philadelphia, he and Michelle wanted to stop in to the Casa du Borghese... you never say no to a president...so I tucked the boy and twins in, packed and came home, with just enough time to freshen and slip my sun drench body into a light and flowing ensemble. They're a hell of a couple...though I do believe Michelle just may have blushed over some of my stories. But being lady like,  she listened, that's how she rolls people. ENOUGH....I can't tell you everything we discussed about last night. But I must say this trip was beyond what the doctor ordered. The weather was beyond gorgeous, sunny, blue skies and white clouds. Mid to high 80's most days. I didn't even need the air at night in the pop up camper I use on my friend's site, even all the windows were unzipped. I even passed out slept on the hammock one night. The Woods is doing a great job with the social distance guidelines too. Granted being on 161 acres helps. You can with ease go and not seeing anyone if you don't want.  There are much less people there during the week, but even when the weekend rolled around, it wasn't quite as many people as last time there. I actually feel pretty safe there. Just being in nature helps my soul greatly, as I HATE being indoors in the summer. Most the the time was eating, drinking, campfires and pool lounging, with other days finding me on trails taking hikes for 5-6 hours by myself, Chris or my friend Mame. My friend Chris took the above picture with his drone. It's a shot of the turnpike almost at the Leighton exit at Jim Thorpe. I will say Pennsylvania is one of the most beautiful states I've seen in the country....with so many different types of locales and landscapes...it's all here. Here are an array of snaps I took on various days of the camp and hikes.
The pool was great this time, and mask do have to be wore when walking and in the pool. The funny sign below!!! An olde to Ptown I believe.
Walk way to the pool.
Scenes from my hikes...
My better side in the fernery

I for some reason was in love with this next picture.

One of many inclines

The camp years ago gave a section of land to the perms and guest there to create a space for dear friends, partners, and pets who used to frequent the Woods, but have since passed on. Many create little shrines to them.

Created a much bigger rock sculpture this time .

Some of the entertaining street names and signs.
Sex Drive wraps a corner and turns into Naked Way.

My lovely campfire I built one night. You would have thought I was girl scout of something.
Bar-B-Q-ued legs!!!!!
One night the poor dears from the camp,  called me down to breath on the nightly bonfire they have on weekends to get it started. I huffed and puffed!!!!! Thank goodness I went light on the Aqua Net that night.

THE MOUNTAINS

This past weekend, my good friend up at the Woods Campground , which is one of my favorite gay places in the Pocono Mountains was away and asked if we wanted to come up anyhow. I threw what I could muster in my new straw bag you saw in a post last week,  and some food and drink into two market bags and off we went. Is it bad when the liquor bag weighs more than the clothing bag????

The place is great , even though a huge percent of the guest is gay, all are welcome. The amenities are excellent and very modern and extremely clean. If you have seen my numerous past post, you know this place is great fun and new friends to be made... and it's not really camping, its glamping honey. You can stay clothed or be as nude as you want...everything goes!!! So my good friend Mame, AKA David Dust, and I went. It was glorious, very hot, but glorious. As I saw on Jenifer's blog today the term "high summer" this is the perfect place to spend it, while still not being near people if you don't want. Being that I was getting dark thoughts again, it's was what I needed.  The camp has a masking wearing guideline in all common areas, even though we kept to ourselves most of the time on the site or on hikes.  Did lay out and catch some rays. And the owners didn't play. We saw and heard people told to leave the area and collect their belongings to leave the campground for those not wearing masks and following guidelines in clubhouse, lanai, camp shop, pool area and deck. Served them right. We only got into the pool once 90% of the crowd retired. I must have been quite the sight with my mask, sunglasses and huge hat, with my junk swing about!!!!!

But the highlight was the nature but of course. The lake is one of my favorite parts. And the dock is a favorite place for me to lay in the buff. This trip was mostly a lovely low key, nature weekend.

Part of the sight.

The guys on this sight...this is their converted golf cart?!?!?! One year Ill do Cruella de Vil in that thing!!!!!!!

And these guys who are bears, on their site,  had light up bears to send a message. Cute.

Tent guard on duty!!!!!

Sunday found me on the hammock, after Mame left,  for most of the day, while listening to Ella Fitzgerald on the Bluetooth. It was so relaxing just laying there swinging about and snoozing. And the view above.

It was the most heavenly part of the weekend.

IlLLUMINATIONS

Well, the Mistress is back at the Casa du Borghese, and happy to report the weekend at the Woods Campground was another rousing success. The weather was nice, the place packed, boys everywhere, and yet again the Mistress and her Aqua-Net@ and gin, didn't get to close to the nightly bonfire. Otherwise it would been like Shelia Matthews Allen in the elevator from the Towering Inferno. God, I love the movie. But I digress. Illuminations at the Woods is one of my favorite summer time events. To start with, there are about close to 5,000 luminaries bags that line the pathways. The people who have permanent sites there and the "weekenders" all do themes, candles, torches, lights, and lasers to layer on to the candlelight. It ranges from the simple to the elaborate of set ups. Some sites even invite you in for desserts, or shots....so you know everyone is good and lit! This year, I was joined by the Lad, who'd never been, and a faithful reader of my blog Cooper, who was very smooth and entertaining, and might I add, is quite handsome, with legs that could crack a walnut, and an ass you could bounce a roll of quarters off of. Oh dear, where was I? Oh yes......some recap of the weekend.....

Just for Anne -Marie....
Sperms...
When you have queens who are creative, technology savvy, and have time on their hands....I understand this took five hours of threading.
Simple but elegant....

The mistress even donned jewels!
Under the Sea....spectacular...

A drag friend of mine Gloria Hole had her own drag mini golf set up, you know for a hole in one.
One site had a variation of the Plinko game from the Price is Right...Drinko. One would drop two disk down through the pegs. When the disk lands, you do a shot of the libation and a mixer it lands on. Your's truly got caught up in the fun and tried. What did I get? Vodka and bacon juice. Yeah.
I love me a VW bus! And the two guys are adorable hippies. I played the tambourine there one night. Or sometime.
THE BARBIE GARDEN!!!!
And of course the Lad just had to capture a afternoon dip into the lake one day. And Cooper said if I blurred the face, I could post it. I hope you ate first, Cooper and my bare ass is coming... I told y'all he had nice legs...among other things. And I'll leave that there.

Now were all back to the Casa tonight before Cooper leaves tomorrow, and we head to P-town to meet up with Pearly Gates on Wednesday. Cooper was going to get a room before departure, but what kind of hostess would I be, so I invited him to say with us.  Service is much more legendary at the Casa anyway. We took Cooper over to The Raven today then showed him the town some. Then Ms.Moorecock tells me there is 8 guys at the door waiting for me. I says, I'm exhausted...send one home.

A huge thank you yet again to the Woods Campground for putting up with my ass, our hosts, and to Cooper for coming so far to meet again. Not to worry, my heart is as pure as the driven slush.
