THAT'S VIO'LET

I will admit, that when Violet Chachki was on Drag Race her season, he wasn't the warmest, and I dare say not my favorite. But I have since grown to love this queen and not only from the sharing of drag or to a sense, the "burlesque part. Mine being more Boylesque. If I had to name the 5 most successful queens to go on from Drag Race that ended up doing incredible things and stand out among the big winner's circle to create their own empire it would be Sasha Velour, Trixie Mattel, Alyssa Edwards,  Jinkx Monsoon and Violet Chachki, who after winning has taken her drag to a whole other level compared to the other queens, and is making the world her oyster. You see Violet has made history...he is the first ever male-bodied and drag queen to dance the legendary and fabled Crazy Horse cabaret in Paris, where she hopes her appearance will help "spread the therapy" of drag, she herself got from drag. She will join the bill at Crazy Horse, invited by them yet,  to perform her one queen show there, and it's one of the renowned intuitions of Parisian "nude chic" alongside the Moulin Rouge.

I'm here to tell you... that queen doing Burlesque... That picture above smolders! And to think he has the talent to keep from the public eye he is a very nicely endowed queen! Now that is talent He has also gotten quite hot out of drag on a sidenote Violet, this ultra glamorous queen, made quite the name for herself on Drag Race, won the crown, and immediately after the show, began her burlesque routine and shows. She was received quickly by the scene, combining singing, comedy, creativity, aerial work, dance and elaborate ensembles. She stands out most times with her sense of fashion and aesthetics. At times I get the feeling and glimpses of the great Joey Arias. Now in the world of burlesque, she is right up there with the likes of Pink Martini and Dita Von Tesse. And she continues to shake things up by having Gotmik on her stage and rumors are swirling they could be dating. Now that would make for one creative force. Whether you like her or hate her, no doubt Violet has emerged victorious and found her place in the world of burlesque. And I can get behind anyone who like to show some skin.

Remember the old Blackglama fur ads, What becomes a legend most? This is it! Yasss Hunty!!!!

VIOLET

Violet is a great example of one of the queens from Drag Race to go on to HUGE things. At first, I wasn't a fan, having met once and heard "the talk" of how bitter and caustic she can get. But show me a queen who can't be, and I'll eat this keyboard. There is no denying she is one of the bigger successes to go on to big things since the show, and has only blown up bigger. Violet is pretty much a international drag performer and a global fashion icon. Although the 29 year old triumphed on the 7th season over Ginger Minj, Pearl and Kennedy, Violet is still trying to prove her worth, and I feel is doing it. Violet is part drag, part fashion part burlesque, and part circus, and doesn't find getting naked. No wonder I grew to like her!! She's a perfect spectacle. She is also innovative, gender-bending, and loves her 19-inch waist. While music hasn't been a big focus for the queen up to this point, she did dabble, but it wasn't till her latest release Fade to Grey that she has exploded. And with the song and video getting good acclaim and reviews she is looking to expand with more music going forward. The video is a remix, an 80's inspired masterpiece with a strong sound, sharp synths and seductively whispered vocals. It's such a well down and arty video and showcases Paul Jason Dardo, the person behind the character and the almighty, all glamorous Violet together, switching between these two contrasting, yet connected personas in an Olymp-like location. If you have seen a Violet show, you will get the full Violet experience, much like you would with Sasha Velour. One gets to dive deeper into Violet's magic universe of self -expression.

And now the afternoon interlude. Fabulous!

And now, how about a midweek musical interlude with the fabulous Miss Fame and the stunning Violet Chachki, "I Run the Runway" It's a catchy little ditty, and these two know how to work the runway. And then there's that kiss.........

LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU-VIOLET CHACHKI

If you like drag queens and drag shows...but don't get to them often, watch this new segment for some phenomenal drag clips. First up is Violet Chachki. I'll admit....I was not on the Violet Chachki bandwagon. Ever. Being in the drag world, doing drag, and having friends who did/do drag, you meet a lot of the drag queens on the road and at shows, but I knew nothing of Violet Chachki when she came onto Drag Race. I was hoping for a Ginger Minj win, it was time for a big girl to win, and she  was the best right after Latrice Royale. But lately, lately, Violet is really starting to bloom. She was the absolute show stop on this years Drag Race finale, and I had seen her a few weeks ago for the first time, and her show was a complete jaw drop. See, Violet does a mean burlesque routine and it's is her shtick and she does it well. I had always wished I had taken up the art of burlesque...so elegant. I have no problem eating crow and giving this gal the respect she deserves. I have really grown to like and enjoy her. And her style is absolutely stunning.....

This is not the show I saw, but pretty close to the same. Tell me this is not entertaining, and what about the surprise move at the end with the fans!!! You go gurl!!!! Work it, but don't wreck it....
