SCREAM QUEENS

 

 

One knows that simply dressing up a few hot male models in Halloween costumes would be a waste of the amazing space that Frontier Magazine is  given, so who better to embody the Halloween spirit than five lovely men for their cover, who themselves dabble in the art of gender illusion? 'Dabble' is of course a joke, as these five queens are some of L.A.'s most talented performers— Kelly Mantle, Detox, Willam, Rhea Litré and Vicky Vox. This is what a drag queen may do for Halloween!!!!!!

 

 

The concept was simple— each queen was asked to portray a different Halloween vixen—the sultry vamp, the mummy, the Bride of Frankenstein, the witch and the werewolf. The resultling photo shoot was one for the Frontiers record books.

Vicky Vox is one of the funniest queens around, and based in Hollywood, California. I have seen her three times, and her shows , or if she is hosting, are always a good laugh. She is the drag daughter of drag queen Detox, and has been making a huge splash ever since her creation. She is ultra-talented, and funny as hell, not to mention flawless. Viciki along with

DWV is blowing up, and Vicky's music videos have had millions of views. I thought it was the perfect time for her to enter the Drag Race spotlight. Word on the drag vine is a lot of queens are upset she didn't make it on RuPauls Drag Race for season 6 , but u

nless this is a huge joke, it looks like we won't be seeing Vicky on Monday nights. But if you ask me,  Vicky clearly doesn't need RPDR for the exposure, but I think she could have added a lot to the show. Since she didn't make the cut, their will be  HUGE expectations for the other queens!
