As if the times couldn't be more depressing our class act, angel, country music legend, actress, fashion icon, the ultimate drag queen, rhinestone Goddess and a swell and giving philanthropists Dolly Parton has departed for fabulon to the Grand Ole Opry in the sky. A sad day indeed.
One of my favorite days of the year. I just love the feeling it has and wished some days, everyday could feel like this. It's been a relaxing day. The Lad and I took the pooches for a lovely walk around the park. We saw several deer, which I had no idea were so close to the mother's house. Could they be Santa escapees? Tonight, I have a surf and turf dinner planned, with the Christmas dinner tomorrow of Roast Beef with Yorkshire pudding. So for today, I'd thought I share some of my favorite pictures from the season from here and Bucks County, that I captured for memories, and some of my favorite Christmas ditties. I warn you, I'm an old soul at heart. Thanks for your friendship and visiting through the year and wish you all a very Happy Christmas. May you be celebrating the way you want.

And as is tradition, probably my favorite song, from Bucks County neighbor and native Christina Perri and her brother, Nick Perri. The most beautiful song.
How's about a funny Sunday ditty!!!
Dolly Parton's legendary "Jolene" covered by some of our favorite queens, serving iconic Dolly lerwks, among them Ginger Minij, Manila Luzon, Alaska, Bebe Zahara Ben dela Crème and Katya. And as the Mistress would sing..... "Jolene, Jolene, Jolene.. I'm begging of you.... please don't take my men."
And did Bebe not get the memo it was a Dolly Parton song and homage? I'm sorry my dear, but your up for elimination.
Hope you all are enjoying this Fabulous Fourth of July!!!!! Don't you just love Dolly and her ensemble???? Take it away Dolly.......
Enjoy the holiday with good food, some cool libations and remember those who fought for our freedoms and wonderful lives we have. Even the Casa Titmouse is patriotic.
I just bet you never saw this coming!?!
Porter Wagoner was perhaps most well-known for his relationship with the singer Dolly Parton. The two partnered professionally for years, and Wagoner is often credited with having kick-started Parton’s career. Despite “ups” that spawned hit songs and “downs” that included angry lawsuits and a feud, the pair were close until the end of his life. Don't judge...It's DOLLY PARTON people!!!!
