The first time I saw these two beautiful queens was on my trip to Buenos Aires three years ago. And my jaw broke at the sight. While I prefer a camp, over the top drag style, these two had their shit together but tight!!!! The Deendjers are an awesome duo of drag performers, and boy friends from Brazil, old fashion divas, fully inspired by the vintage and glamorous puss actresses from the old days. As Deendjers, formed by Thiago Vilas Boas Mendonça and Vinícius Lavezzo, they have been honored with a certificate of Honorable Mention in the Legislative Assembly in recognition of the artistic, charitable and cultural work they develop, which is rare for the gays, let alone drag queens be givien such on honor in Brazil. The duo has existed for twelve years , and perform at several parties and nightclubs throughout Brazil. They perform at a high level, always being praised for their choreography and costumes. Their shows are not to be missed. They have already been honored in several places and in Paraná, which is their home. They are great artists and they deserve this public recognition because of the work they do and because they carry the name of Paraná wherever they go. In 2017, the artists were in Los Angeles, to kick off a US tour, which I missed, but caught them in New York a year ago. In the show they but rivaled the scene of Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russel from Gentleman Prefer Blondes, to the tee. The good news? There in the workd and invited to perform a permanent show in Las Vegas.
