Grande Dame of the Week

Artemis Chase is originally from Portland, Oregon. Artemis quickly realized she needed something more than rural Oregon and in 2003 she headed east for the grit and glamour NYC nightlife. After 4 years in the fast paced and occasionally drug addled NYC scene Artemis celebrated for her realism in female impersonation and her luminous personality. Always seeking reinvention and new stages Artemis made the difficult decision to leave Gotham for the Golden Gate. Upon arriving in San Francisco Ms. Chase truly emerged as the entertainer we admire today. Her unique style, born of two very different cities and drag cultures, has been honed into the graceful, stylish, theatrical and sometimes trashy persona that we all know and love. Artemis is also hoping to get into the action of RuPaul's Drag Race season 3. Honey, I wish you all the luck!!! And if you get on girl , I'll be watching! Artemis Chase and the Drag Race

The Mistress yesterday got a lovely little comment from Artemis Chase regarding RuPaul's Drag Race and the voting process. Have y'all been to the site yet? Well, I"m here to tell ya, the process is a long one and there were many reqirements and rules to follow for the different rounds to the final selection process. They are now in the final round, the top 25 are left to vote from. You can go to RuPaul's Drag Race Casting to vote for a favorite diva you would like to see get on the show. Once there you can create a profile and vote. They don't reqiure any personal information, just a screen name and you can vote every 24 hours. I'm happy to announce that Artemis made it to the final round! You better work girl! And good luck to you!!! So, if your a fan like me go on to the site and vote for your favorite queen. There is only 5 days left and it's down to the top 25 girls. RuPaul's Drag Race Season 2

RuPaul's Drag Race was so good in the ratings for Logo, that RuPaul will be back for another season of dragtestants to compete for Super Model of the World. The show will start back on February 2, 2010. While it will be a some time till the queens get to the start line, Mistress Maddie's #1 Fan's contact sent him some pictures of some of the queens who are finalist to be on the show.
