SUPERBOWL?

If you know me like my friends, then you'll know when it comes to sports, technology, and some pop culture stuff, I'm so the Dowager Countess.

I do know the Eagles are in the game and will root for them since I lived so long in the Philly area, but most likely won't watch till halftime when some kind of hootenanny take place. Heaven knows, I have no patience or liking to ads or advertisements either, on any platform. I even did some kind of bet at work, but I have no idea how it works, its beyond me. Let's hope for the best.

All I know is I heard tight-ends.

  1. We're watching the NOLA parades, sweetpea, but we will turn the game on later! It's a divided house here, but it will be a close game. Ok, enough pretense on my part. The Saints aren't in the Super Bowl, so I honestly don't care who wins because I'll be watching for the ads and the half time show! xoxo

    1. All I know, is if the Eagles lose, I'll be glad I'm living in Central PA and not in the greater Philly area and burbs. Everyone will be poorly and in pissy moods tomorrow.

  2. Not something that I follow.Well, I'm from the land of Rugby Union greats, so even the euphemisms are different.

    1. Rugby. Sexy players and that's all I know, lol!!!! I think there is a ball involved, is there not?

    2. Fifteen pairs of balls, I believe. And they used to interview the teams after the game in a communal bath. That's as far as my knowledge of my native Wales' national sport goes. Jx

    Tundra Bunny here...

Unlike the Dowager Countess, you at least know what a weekend is, Maddie! The only sports I watch (and know the rules for) are hockey and curling, which is all a Canadian really needs, LOL!

  5. Tight ends, wide receivers, sounds like a sexy sport, but I won't be watching. I'll tape so I can fast forward to the halftime show.

  6. This is one of those events The Kid Brother lives for. Me? I only know it was the best day to drive back to San Diego from Palm Springs. Not a car on the road.

  7. I'm not interested in any of it! I'll watch the commercials on YouTube eventually.

    1. Well I watch the game to support the Eagles since I live practically up the road, I thought the commercials were the worst and most boring that I've ever seen during the Super Bowl.

    2. I saw very little talk of the commercials so far today...it's been all Rhianna talk. And she did great!!!!

    3. Thanks for the warning, Ms Agnes. I won't bother to watch. I went to high school with an ex-Eagle. He was a year or two ahead of me. Wally Henry. He played during my toddler raising years. Hmm, I'm the only one growing up in my family who didn't like football. I took the time to enjoy peace and quiet in my room with a good book away from the rowdiness.
Not a big Rhianna fan, Mads. I do like the fact that her very existence seems to have made ol pumpkinhead's Cheez Whiz slip further off his cracker crumbs.

  8. As someone who's been to a professional football game, I can tell you they're boring . With all of the commercials, the Super Bowl has got to be so much worse.

    1. I have been to a football and baseball game... and told I'm very distracting at them. But hey, I'm there for the social aspect, what can I say.

  16. I heard about the enormous spreads and Predicted it would be a very close Game and those betting with such wide margin spread would be Losers. The Family didn't agree and had to eat Crow. *winks* They should heed my Predictions, but know that I absolutely don't Care or know about Sports. I was only seconds into the Halftime Show before asking The Man, does Rihanna look Pregnant to you? *LOL* Turns out she was and gotta give her props for being 7 Years Rusty, that far along in her Pregnancy, and still putting on a decent Show nonetheless.

    1. I thought the same thing Dawn. I was looking at her and I'm like is she pregnant? I don't know anything about sports either and that game I mentioned about work we were partaking in, and one I still don't know and Hell how it works, I ended up winning 75 bucks!

  17. Tight ends. Wide receivers. Defensive ends must be the ones that are hesitant to try it.
