GRANDE DAME

Hailing from Germany this week we have the fabulous Tatjana Taft who has been performing for around 12 years now. Think of her as the Nina Flowers of Germany. How fabulous are these looks and wigs!!!! Tatjana is know for her very creative fabric and materials she uses for creating her wigs and outfits and I say they are all must haves!!!!!  Some days one just wants huge hair. You know, the higher the hair, the closer to God! And if you hadn't guessed Tatjana is also queen of the theme ensemble, and boy, does she do it right. lOVES her creativity.......

  2. I've always thought drag queens who speak German (or in German accents) sound particularly apt. I remember a drag entertainer called Lilo Wanders who presented a kinky TV show. Miss Taft looks like a fine addition to the tradition!

  5. She's fabulous, but all I could think was what Lily Tomlin said about Jane Fonda's headwear in the opening scene of '9 to 5':
"We'll have to find a special locker for that hat."

  8. I can only imagine the show she puts on. I swear, one day, I'm getting one of those formed wig pieces. I love the cartoonish feel she has.
